The door in shower was not opening smoothly and the elevators did not work properly. This appears to be a problem from the last year ;). This is not a comment to make a bad review, but just a reminder to hotel to fix it if they read my comments.

We had great view from the balcony, food was amazing, staff was very nice and helpful, definitely come back again.

Nice stay close to the seaside

Very nice location close to the seaside, average price considering the season, quite a big hotel and spacious. The garden is neat, clean and well kept. Nice pool, clean and enjoyable.

The food quality of the buffet restaurant was quite below average: quantity over quality. The staff of the restaurant was looking sad/annoyed and barely taking away the empty dishes from the tables.

😡 The hotel misleads the customers with the pictures of the rooms. My partner and I booked a room with a balcony - they accommodated us in the "basement", from the balcony we had a view of the smelly corner of their building. The hotel is poorly ventilated, the rooms smell of old carpets. At the reception, we asked for another room, we got a bigger room, but the lights did not work in the bathroom. We arrived for a two-day rest in a smelly room with no lights. Going home completely disappointed. The services and all the offers are overpriced, because you get very poor quality for a high price. We will not recommend this hotel unless this is a very last resort. Smelly rooms, horrible customer service, worst experience ever. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR EXPERIENCES LIKE THIS!👎🏼😡

One night stay in Porec

The variety at breakfast and dinner is superb! Something for everyone. The facility is very clean and well furnished. Staff very kind and helpful.

No fridge in the room… The nice view from the balcony would be nicer with a cold drink from the fridge… Also, there was a strong odour (sewer like) coming from the drain pipe in the shower…

I really liked the staff at the reception and bar. They have been very helpful.

I was not aware that the hotel was for travel destination for 60+ and therefore the entertainment in evening at the bar was not suited for younger generations. As well as the dinner, which was just not edible. Poor quality. Breakfast was ok.

We are disappointed, it was 5 days stay but we were happy when we left the hotel.

sea is very close to the hotel, good wifi

small and smelly room, smelly and dirty carpet, dust on shelves and on the floor. low quality room service. noise after 10PM - not good for family with small kids disability access was not provided to the room - not good for family with stroller. restaurant is like in a middle school - noisy, privacy, food was not tasty

Nice stay

We stayed with family for 1 week, enjoyed every day in the hotel. Nice location, directly on the beach. The hotel is surrounded with green garden, you can have a rest in the shadow under trees. Clean swimming pool.

Only 2 elevators for such a big hotel, mostly we used stairs.

A beautiful view to Porec from the beach in front of the hotel.

The location is amazing! Just few minutes to the closet beach. Many places and bars to enjoy the evening at the hotel.

Great overall experience at Hotel Materada.

- Comfortable room with exceptional view. - A lot of activities for children. - Free lunch for children was nice extra. - Good lunch and dinner options. - Strong WIFI. - Clean pools and (pebble) beach nearby.

- The number of (working) elevators is not sufficient for the number of rooms. - A live band every day until 23:00 causing a lot of noise at the seaside of the hotel is not optimal.

Very good holiday

The Dinner is amazing. lots of choice, not quite perfect for my Vegetarian girlfriend, but we managed. The Balcony is really nice because its very private, even all the balconys are private due to the clever design. the pool is perfect, very clean, very nice staff.

Breakfast is very basic, not much fruit, not much juice, or very poor selection. seems like there isn't much thought put into it. The staff at reception didn't have much of an idea about the available activities... there are tennis courts/ beach volley ball... when i asked, it seemed they didn't even know they existed!
