    The property is in a perfect location. Rooms are clean and rooms are comfortable. Totally disappointed with breakfast very basic almost continental breakfast not full buffet. If you want eggs you actually get charged which other hotels would not do this. Only this is breakfast is a disappointing.

    Nice and comfortable room. Breakfast was included, which was nice but it wasn’t super impressive. Unfortunately parking was $25 a night which I find a bit steep for what it is. Staff was super friendly and amazing, late night check in and check out was easy as, and there was a gorgeous view over the city and got to watch the sunrise over the skyline.

    I recently stayed at Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is in an excellent central location, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and many of Dunedin’s attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. I particularly appreciated the convenient parking and the beautiful views over the city. The breakfast was enjoyable and provided a good start to the day. Overall, Kingsgate Hotel offers great value for money, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dunedin.

    Poor internet connection. No available food at night and no variety of food during breakfast. Food always the same.
