A little disappointed with the smell in the room

The people on the desk were very helpful and friendly. Comfy bed and spacious room.

The room was clean however, upon arrival had a bad smell of fried food. Perhaps from previous people having room service so it could have been aired. My clothes smelled like deep fried food the next morning, I was offered a complimentary coffee for that.

The room didn’t feel ‘ready’ there were no amenities in the bathroom and the mini bar only half stocked. Only 2 towels in the whole bathroom.

Had to call 3 times to get my room cleaned then the next night they didn’t come at all after calling them the next day but we didn’t find out till 9pm when we got back and at that stage I couldn’t be bothered as I was tired. Coffee machine had no coffee capsules and a few other things.

Amazing, highly recommended.

The service and overall experience was amazing. We went for my birthday and they made me feel extremely spoilt, greeting me with birthday balloons and complimentary macarons in our room. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the staff were all friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. We had high tea at the Chandelier Lounge which was just superb.

There was no physical compendium in the room, it was all done via QR codes and Online which I struggled with. I am fairly technically savvy but wondered how people who weren't might deal with this.

Great place to stay

Stay was very relaxing, enjoyed dining at Our Land (Colby was great) and the gym facilities. Bed was very comfortable and the room spacious.

This was a gift and had to call 3 times (each time getting a person who gave a different story) to finally be able to prepay for the room. When she checked into her room there was a card welcoming someone else

A beautiful stay at a luxurious resort-style hotel - perfect!

The entire ambience was amazing! The breakfast was a a highlight, so much to chose from. The spa was also super, having. a morning swim before breakfast without crowds, was.another highlight!

I couldn’t link my device to the tv. Parking was an extra cost I wasn’t expecting until I asked. The bathroom was very dusty on the high spots next to the shower and the extraction fan grill had a load of dust on it.

Good location close to Hospital and downtown.

Reception staff lacking in knowledge and flexibility. They know the basics and nothing more. When I had to unexpectedly stay another night there was no help or flexibility to help me in a difficult time with my husband in hospital. Really disappointed as this is not the service I’m used to at this hotel. Conceierge staff fantastic. Reception useless.

Excellent hotel after long flight and for a short stay in Aukland

The room was very modern and comfortable, with all of the conveniences you'd want for an easy and relaxing experience. Reading lights and plugs at the bedside, good quality toiletries and even some extra items in case you forgot them. Free shuttle to the wharf area. Very nice bathroom. The breakfast (costs extra) was OUTSTANDING!

I'd consider returning during a non-peak time!

The hotel had a beautiful ambience and aroma. I'm sure it is more relaxing and peaceful during non-peak times, but Labour weekend was busy with young families so there was pressure on all staff, facilities and resources.

The ladies’ change area would benefit from additional rubber matting for safety and comfort. Children under 15 should not be permitted in the steam room, sauna, spa, or ice areas. The ice area created a significant mess and offers limited benefit — replacing it with a plunge pool would be a far more practical and hygienic option. Also the hotel should ensure all restaurants are open over long weekends and ensure greater capacity for spa treatments during peak times.
