Hidden gem.

Room was comfortable and location good. Breakfast was good with friendly chef 👨‍🍳.

Left waiting on check in, no bell to ring for service. Lady seemed a little uncertain on room allocation.

Lovely rural authentic place to stay.

The hotel is quaint and the bedrooms are situated in converted stables. It is situated by a river and is very charming and feels truly authentic and unapologetically Irish in many ways.

As the building is old and in close proximity to the river they seem to be battling with mold which is unfortunate.

we did not end up staying and were refused any refund. the area and the dark interior etc we lft and asked for a part refund and were told that we booked with booking .com and can not get a tefund.

Don't use this property - they charge you twice

It is an old style hotel old fashioned but also charming. We were there out of season and everything was closed. We got private parking in a closed area.

Breakfast was ok, but we had to wait half an hour to get it - we were the only persons for breakfast. By arrival the staff-lady said that the price from Booking was too low - 113 €/night - but accepted my pay at the desk. After we left the property claimed that we did not show up, and cashed in payment again from Booking.com Now we have payed twice for our stay at this property.

Very peaceful and beautifully decorated. Clean and freshly painted. Was like our own little cottage.

Lovely and clean and freshly painted. Great location and very comfortable and private. The dining room and common areas are really beautifully done and clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Was a shame they didn't do dinners in the lovely dining area. And the patio overlooking the little river was closed so that was a shame. We had a beautiful dinner at a local Golf Club. We had a car fortunately.

Lovely, relaxing, enjoyable with my little girl

Only downside was there was no cooked vegetarian option and this must be booked in advance. Besides that, there were cereals, pre-packaged buns, yogurts, fruit & juice to help yourself to. The rooms were exceptionally clean & comfortable

Even though it was nice, there were thin walls in the room. Could hear other guests coming and going, which disrupted our sleep.

Stop on the way to Dublin airport from Belfast, convenient to Newgrange and related tourist spots. Secure parking.

No elevator so we had to lug suitcases up a single slight of stairs. Otherwise very nice.

Country village experience close to Dublin airport .

Great old fashioned Irish hospitality. Great location base for my horse riding experience. Near to the Irish Sea in which I had my morning swims. Warm and comfortable room, great breakfast options and friendly helpful hosts. Thank you Michael, Ben and Julianna.

Great Location with wonderful, helpful Hosts

The location, the dining area , the lovely staff all made our stay a great place to relax. Tracy was able to upgrade us to a larger room which we really appreciated. We had our breakfasts in their beautiful dining room overlooking a tranquil stream. They were individually prepared by Michael and his team. The bed was very comfortable and the housekeeper kept us well supplied. We were grateful for the care and attention.

A perfect location for a village feel, with a larger town close by.

The staff were genuinely friendly and engaging (thanks Ben!) and the accommodation was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order with fruit, yoghurt and cereal options as well. We liked the location - pretty, with the river running past - close to Drogheda, where we visited the fascinating ancient sites of Newgrange and Knowth.

Our TV was on the blink but it really was a positive because of the way it was handled. We were given a new room immediately.

Small, family run hotel with friendly staff. Basic old style bedrooms, but clean and comfortable. No issues.

Stayed for one night as I was passing through for work. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean bathroom. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking.

The bar was closed when I was there (I think anyway because there was nobody there when I went down for a drink), so there wasn’t much to do in the evenings, but it’s perfect for a clean room and a good breakfast if you’re looking for a place to stay for a night.

Disappointing

Staff were friendly.

Wall between our bedroom and the next room was paper thin. You could hear a pin drop. Unfortunately, a very noisy couple next door kept us awake until 1am and again at 6 am the next morning despite me going to their door. Pillows uncomfortable and other guests belongings still in the room. Flynns need to raise their game.

Not the most welcoming place. Rooms ok and comfortable but breakfast disappointing.

One of the rooms was spacious and nice. It was quiet.

Breakfast was disappointing not the quality Irish breakfast we expected. Bacon and sausage was overcooked and seemed to have been reheated. The continental section was poor with food in packets. Rooms could have been cleaner. Not vacuumed under the chair and ledge along the bath was dirty.

Lovely Clean private rooms with beautiful views and so peaceful no noise disturbance from traffic or anything . Breakfast one of the best we ever had and staff were so accommodating as we needed to leave early even did an early breakfast. Bar was lovely and peaceful and perfect to enjoy a drink before bed. Can’t recommend any higher

Great location for a family stay in a very nice part of the wee County.

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Tea and coffee making items were provided. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Michael.
