Great family getaway
Friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from the staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Stay was very good only for lack of food at Breakfeast.
We arrived down for Breakfeast at 10.20 on Sunday . Breakfeast was served until 11am on Sunday. We had to wait for table . Got one at 10.35. At that stage most of the Breakfeast food self service dishes were empty . No brown bread no sausages no puddings no tomatoes . No side plates available to put our toast on .We had to ask for everything. And a few items were replaced in servicing dishes.
I don’t like wasting food and understand the hotel do not want to be throwing out food. But they know how many guest that they have staying over and there should have been more food available without we having to ask for it.Its either self service or not.

Weekend break to play golf in enniscrone
Staff are so friendly. We had a huge room . It was well decorated and comfortable.
Not aesthetically attractive from the outside. The duvet was too hot .

Haphazard short break, friendly staff but of need of plenty support and quality training
Loved the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, The breakfast was good
The bedroom was far to hot, no heating seemed to be on, there was a fan in the wardrobe but had to remove the cover as the blade would not rotate, the bathroom was far to small, the door could not be fully opened as it hit off the toilet. Dinner in the bar on the first evening chaotic, it was not busy but staff need basic training. no problem in charging 34.00 for a bottle of wine with no opening or taste option of the wine by the waitress. The waitress was lovely however. It also took 30 mins to find the correct bottle we ordered. we were hoping to have dinner there on the second night with a friend but decided to go somewhere else (Key west in ballina with had amazing food, service at a reasonable price). The manger did come over and said here was no charge for the wine which was nice but we just wanted the bottle we ordered. We also gave him the feedback which we mentioned here.
