Nice friendly staff.

In the middle of a heatwave, windows didn't open far enough and no air con. Fan just blew hot air around all night. I didn't sleep at all. Pillows very hard, ok if you sleep on your back, I sleep on my side and made my back and neck ache. Very small bathroom sink, water dribbled out. Curtain not fixed to rail properly, so let light in. Couldn't direct shower head to where I'd like, so just had to use it in my hand, the water pressure was good, thankfully.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Stratford Station. The staff are efficient and helpful. The room was clean on arrival and the wifi worked well throughout. The room was equipped with a working fridge. There were drinks and snacks offered free at reception. It was quiet at night in the hotel during my stay. It worked well for me for my one night stay. It is a basic hotel in Stratford and expectations were correct for the price paid. The furniture in the room was very shabby and I raised this with the kindly receptionist, that choice on their part is sadly purely due to disrespect of guests for their rooms. There are a few Indian restaurants over and along the road.

There is nothing I didn't like. A suggestion about the sheets which were a textile mix, when the weather gets very warm sheets with more cotton content are going to make sleep easier for guests.

It was exactly what I needed, a bed close to where I needed to be in the morning. It was a comfy bed too.

It wasn’t that clean, but it wasn’t a problem for the night I was there.
