Excellent Breakfast. Supremely modern and comfortable. Lovely views and very quiet and relaxing. Kitchen facilities for self catering excellent. Parking not an issue. Perfect hosts. We will be back when in the area.

A very comfortable stay in a great location.

Very friendly helpful owners. Our bed was really comfortable and the room was warm. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to the door, we were left fresh milk, tea and coffee to make a hot drink with. We woke up to a beautiful countryside view.

Nothing, the A303 is very close but the noise didn’t bother us at all. We will definitely be staying again.

Great place, ideal location for my work trip and property and food far exceeded expectations.

Beautiful place, friendly accommodating host, immaculate suite and breakfast/ tea and coffee facilities far exceeded expectations. Such a bonus to be at a b n b but have breakfast served privately in your room.

Its adjacent to the A303 so if road noise bothers you the that could be a issue. Very tranquil apart from that

Accommodation had excellent facilities. Easy to find. Hosts were very helpful. Bed was really comfy. Shower was excellent. The farm and buildings all very pretty. Parking easy. Breakfast great and lots of choice.

Only concern is that we were able to hear lorries travel down the A303. It didn't keep me awake or wake me up despite being a light sleeper, so it wasn't so much of an issue, but it was audible when relaxing in the room. If you want complete silence then this might not be for you.

The owners take a lot of pride in how their property is kept. It was spotlessly clean and specified to a high standard. The breakfast was to a high standard and they were very accommodating for my gluten free requirements.

We loved our stay at Shave Farm. We stayed in the Cedar Barn, which was perfect for our needs. James and Kate were super friendly and helpful. Kate's cooked breakfast was delicious. We would definitely return in the future.

The perfect,short night stay for anyone!

Everything. This barn was one of the best we have ever chosen to stay in. It was so comfortable, clean and cozy. We self catered and it had everything you needed. It is so peaceful and the location is lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay away. You will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed SHAVE Farm as a base, visiting and revisiting beautiful Somerset and Devon.

We liked everything about Our Deluxe Suite at Shave Farm. The breakfast table and fridge had fresh fruit, cereals,jam,fresh orange juice and milk. Filter coffee, tea, hot chocolate and so on! Then we had a delightful cooked breakfast delivered to the table by our host! Also a microwave for guests convenience.Lots of toast too. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great with shampoo,shower gel and conditioner provided. All was tastefully furnished and cosy. The property and gardens/patios were well kept with lots to occupy youngsters too. We really enjoyed a delightful 3 nights at Shave Farm and our Hosts have ensured that guests do exactly that! Highly recommend!

Just a perfect / outstanding place. Tiny touches that were brilliant. Shower was great - quiet location- clean - so very comfortable.

Coffee machine was ok but I’m used to a little better. Honestly that was nothing . The place was perfection . I loved the countryside and patio views of the. Fields . Impressive !

Fabulous cottage with welcoming hosts

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. Very clean and comfortable, luxury stay. Breakfast delivered to the cottage in the morning (if requested, we had it twice during our stay) which was outstanding. Close to Ilminster and lots to do in the area. 30 minutes from Lyme Regis/West Bay, both worth a visit.

Beautiful accommodation, attention to detail, walk in shower, big comfy bed, great views, quiet area and lovely hosts. We have stayed as B&B here before and must say we love it

It was self catering ( B&B also available at same venue) but no dishwasher which I would prefer to a washing machine personally. I find you hope the previous occupants leave everything clean for the next person. A dishwasher in my experience leaves all dishes and cutlery clean.

I've never slept in a bed as comfy as the one here! The breakfast was so delicious. Such a peaceful location and all of the furnishings were so lovely and well thought about.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful hosts, made us feel very welcome, very good communications, especially with us requiring to check in late. Despite not having breakfast included we were able to buy it whilst there and it was a fantastic full English. Lots of space for the 2 of us, huge bedroom and ensuite, very cosy homely living space. The courtyard garden was a lovely area to sit out in.

Being a self catered cottage, the one improvement I would encourage would be to have a few more kitchen cupboard essentials.

Highly recommend this restful retreat!

Stunning finish to Apple Loft and filled with everything you could need. Furniture comfortable from bed, to sofa, to dining chairs and outdoor furniture. Linen soft, clean and fresh. Beautiful surroundings, a really restful retreat. Welcoming and kind hosts. Breakfast available and delivered to the door!

Busy road near by but didn’t detract from our stay. Unable to find anything else we didn’t like!

A perfect Stay

We could not have been happier with our stay. Our hosts were the most considerate I have ever encountered! From the moment we arrived and being offered a hot drink to when we left they were so kind. Spotless accomodation and local pubs for evening meals. Very, very happy holiday :-)

There is one word i would use "incredible" the whole experience from arriving to leaving was absolutely fantastic, James and Kate were the most caring hosts always ensuring that your stay was the best experience. Delightful farm offering great facilities

Delightful welcome from friendly staff. Exceptional spacious and comfortable room (the picture didn’t do it justice), with access to own living room, with beautiful views over the garden. Left very early but provisions for breakfast were still made available. Convenient for access to A303.

Disappointed that I only found the property following the clearance of my parents house so unlikely to return.
