Spacious rooms with all you need close to the beach

Big spacious rooms, comfy beds, air con, nice shower. Close to the beach, just what we needed after a long day of travelling.

I didn’t like that some person with dogs make for their pets toilet, in kids playground. It should be somehow monitored. How kids can play if dog pissed on the slides, and owner didn’t react.

Great for access to the coast.

It's a very quirky place, somewhere between a hostel, leisure centre and outwards bounds centre, rooms are large and functional. Our youngest daughter loved the sandpit play area and also the Easter egg hunt. Location was great, only 10 minutes walk to the sea front.

Showers had little control over the flow and temperature.

Kids enjoyed bunk beds. Room was very spacious. Bathroom was nice and very clean.

There was quite a bit of street noise in the room. Reception was closed when were arrived. Room key was left on the counter in the envelope with my surname on it. All matrasses were too hard for our personal liking.

We were very satisfied with our accommodation and would recommend it for short stays .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and adequate for us. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and the chef very friendly and accommodating.

Another plug socket or USB port would have been helpful.

It was clean.

This facility is similar to that of a prison or an army barracks or an immigranten opvang. It has a block A and a block B. You go though several door and corridors to end up in your cell. Inside it is beyond bare. It is stripped down to only what sustains life. There is NO WIFI. Rough grey bare concrete walls. No plants or pictures. Army cots to sleep on. No colour except the carpet. Small tv up in the corner under the ceiling. Interior temp preset you cant change or personalise it. Shower cannot be adjusted. Water temp is set!!! You have no choice. Set in a timer. Depersonalised. Grey. Functional. Depressing. Just like a prison. The outrage is that they dare lie that this is a "vakantiedomein". Imagine spending your holiday in such uninspiring unimaginative grim surroundings! This place is the opposite. They have a major problem and need to change everything to make it a real holiday destination. The attitude is very wrong. Bring in warmth. Make people feel welcome. Make the surroundings cheerful and interesting. And lastly; E 15 for a pet?? Seriously? Nowhere else is it this pricey. And lastly..it is nowhere close to a beach. Why go? Never again.

Good location although a little far to the beach. rooms very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds.

Facilities for children not great, however as a base to sleep and have breakfast, it is very good value.

The location, the free parking and the children playground.

We chose this property because it was rated with good cleanliness. Unfortunately this was not the case in our room. The shower ceiling was full of mold and so were the shower walls. My husband asked them to clean it and they promised they would, but the next day it was the same. The day after our room was not cleaned at all. We also got bitten by a bed bug. We will definitely not come back here.

It’s very much a hostel. Don’t expect any comfort. People had left dirty rubbish in the corridor so it smelt of dirty nappies for several hours the next morning.

Great time in Belgium

Everybody was very nice even though we were very loud guests. Sorry for that afterwards. Breakfast was good, beds were in a good shape an the hotel employees tried their best to be nice!

Superb

Super Nice place to stay with children. We had a weekend party for my daughter’s birthday and the place really exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was good and the rooms are also very nice. We will definitely come back.
