The staff was incredibly friendly and multi-lingual. The food exceptional. The breakfast buffet was generous and dinner was delicious. The grounds, absolutely gorgeous. You could "get lost" on a walk. The hotel truly is dog-friendly. Dog-guests are allowed everywhere 😃.
The interior is in need of an update. The wallpaper is starting to curl at the edges and corners, some amenities have yellowed with age, and the rooms have started to feel a bit musty. None of this is really a problem perse, but for true value for money, more maintenance and freshness is expected..
