Aamiainen oli asiallinen ja riittävä. Miljöö ja majoituspaikka sopivat erinomaisesti luontomatkailuun. Majapaikan isäntä oli aivan mahtava: Seurallinen, ja kertoi paljon vinkkejä käyntikohteiksi sekä opasti ja auttoi kaikessa.
Huone ehkä vähän pienehkö kahdelle henkilölle, joilla aika paljon tavaraa, maastovaatteet yms. Kylpyhuoneessa olisi voinut olla isompi hyllykkö, mihin laittaa tavaroita ja kunnon ripustustangot pyyheliinoille. Yläkertaan johtavien portaiden oven avaus hieman hankalaa, jos kantoi tavaroita yläkertaan.
