Atmosphere in the pub was excellent, good selection of drinks. Friendly team, food was first class, particularly breakfast. Marcus the chef was good company and delivered great food. Room was compact but spotless and had everything you could need for a short stay. Shower very nice.

High Quality Overnight Stay

Very modern, tasteful and comfortable rooms above a lovely pub. Exceptionally comfortable beds, spotlessly clean room and a powerful top notch shower. Along with a fridge on the room's communal landing containing fresh milk and lots of bottled water plus allocated parking for each room this was a high quality overnight stay. The pub downstairs served some lovely well kept ale amongst a wide range of drinks and good traditional pub grub. Next morning the breakfast was cooked to order and was excellent with generous portions.

Excellent stay, the owner said they were having problems with the WiFi, otherwise it was good.

Overall it was a good experience, only thing letting it down was the WiFi in the room wasnt working, food & drink selection was very good, good choice at breakfast too.

Great location for what we needed. Really helpful hosts (we had a small request regarding check-in which they were only too happy to help with). Room was great and there was a lovely friendly atmosphere in the pub. Delicious breakfast too!

Amazing one night stay with food ,decor and staff running at 100%

The whole experience was just great.from the friendly at staff along with the amazing food I had at night. The lasagne was probably the best I’ve ever had . Breakfast was great as well Room was lovely and great decoder throughout . Well done guys !

Breakfast was great and the hosts were very welcoming. The fridge full of water and other complimentary refreshments was much appreciated, allowing for self service of everything that was needed.

The column fan was a little noisy for the room but needed to be there to relieve the heat

A terrific pub for a holiday break.

Excellent rooms that are very well appointed. Quality linen and plenty of space with attention to detail. The evening meal was freshly cooked and excellent .A good breakfast and friendly staff throughout the stay . I enjoyed the real ale also .

Nice place, shame about the short comings

The accommodation was very good

The greeting from the barman when we arrived was not good, not very friendly. We chose Cottage Pie for our evening meal. The pie was lovely but the vegetables appeared to be yesterdays left overs heated up in the microwave, they were awful! Breakfast was OK except there was no gluten free cereal or bread, having said they catered for celiac sufferers. Service was very slow.

A little gem close to Poole with local amenities and walks to keep everyone happy

Excellent food , breakfast was plentiful and very tasty - I would suggest the meat was clearly sourced locally . Friendly staff very helpful and accommodating. Extra special fresh milk in a central fridge and plenty of bottles of water and a water cooler as well. Nothing was any trouble.

The staff were amazing. Despite travelling along they made me feel welcome and like it was my regular pub! The room was incredibly comfortable with milk and water available in the lobby.

The only thing was the WiFi speed but it actually stopped me working when I should have been sleeping!

A lovely place for a short break .

Great location. Reserved parking . Beautifully appointed room - attention to detail e.g fresh milk, cafetière, chilled water, toiletries ( including toilet paper) was exceptional. Lovely King Size bed, furniture designed to make the most of a small room. Great service, lovely food , real ales and good wine!

Good overall value for money and service.

Room was very clean and contained coffee/tea facilities. There was also a ready supply of bottled water and milk at no extra charge. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and politely served by staff.

I don't think the room was visited by maid service during our two night stay and so towels not replenished or beds made but this wasn't a major issue.

Beautiful room in friendly pub in quiet village but close to Poole

Beautifully decorated & furnished rooms which were spotlessly clean. Brilliant hospitality tray with variety of teas, filter coffee, chilled bottled water, fresh milk & biscuits. Quiet location. Friendly staff. Good food in the pub.

Good but needs inprovement should not have a 9.8 rateing.

The breakfast was great very filling. The dinner the night before was also very good and lots of food.

The main problem was the steep steps up to the room. Very hard to take your bags up to your room. The room was small and nowhere to put your bags. Had to put them on chairs and that blocked the door to get in and out of the room.
