About this apartment rental
Mare nostrum is located in the middle of Alykes bay, which is a wonderful beach in the Eastern part of Zakynthos. The name Mare nostrum,which means " our sea " in Latin, represents its ideal location literally right in front of the sea.Here you will be able to enjoy the outstanding view of the crystal clear blue waters and find yourself in a quiet and peaceful spot.
The space
Mare nostrum is a new building and is developed in two levels.
At the lower lever there is a big yard where you can enjoy your coffee, relax,read a book, sunbathe or spend your time playing.
The apartment is located at the upper level and it consists of two bedrooms with double beds, a fully equipped open - space kitchen with a small dining room and a bathroom.
In front of the apartment there is a big terrace where you can enjoy the sunrise, you can have your breakfast under the huge umbrella, or your drink under a sky full of stars.
Interaction with guests
Upon your arrival we will welcome you and show you around offering you all the needed information for a special stay.
Other things to note
Upon your arrival you will find the apartment clean with one set of bed linen for each bed and one set of towels ( for body,face and feet ) for each guest.Of course you could clean your apartment by yourself since a broom, a dustpan and a mop are provided. You will be provided by a clean set of bed linen and clean towels every five days free of charge.Please bring your own towel for the beach.

We stayed for 1 week in this beautifully presented property which had everything we needed. The fantastic views of the sea, the spacious terrace and the closeness to the water for swimming were the selling points for us and we weren’t disappointed! As for our hosts, Dennis and Maria, they were there to welcome us on arrival, show us around and even had some essentials, (juice, water, sweet treats) to get us underway. They were always on site if anything was needed, yet they were never intrusive and having never been to Greece before we found them to be a truly lovely introduction to Greek people - genuine, kind and extremely friendly. We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit this resort.

The unit was very nice. Loved the location.Very quiet and clean.The host was very helpful and a nice gentleman.We were more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation.
Overall,I recommend this vacation rental.

We were 3 friends one week in Zakinthos. They were wonderful days, for the island, but above all because our hosts made the stay unforgettable. The situation of the apartment is unbeatable, on the beach, but the most important thing is that they are aware that nothing is missing. We have at our disposal, kayak, bicycles, books, games, etc. In addition to the gifts upon arrival: cold water, grapes, sweets, etc. and other days, cake or raisins. In short, totally recommendable so much, the place, like the landlords that are kind, professional and nice. Do not miss it. Thank you so much for everything.
