Pazo de Brandeso & Country Club

Great staff! The place is magical. There were so many things to see and do without leaving the hotel. It is like a museum. Will come back for sure.

The pool seemed a bit dirty, not a big deal but it would be nice if it was cleaner.

An exceptional property in a very nice location. We were very happy and comfortable in this fantastic pazo. The staff was very warm and helpful, we really felt at home.

Some small things that weren’t extremely clean had some wear. But we really didn’t mind because of everything else that was so nice.

In a world full of modern hotels, hotel pods and home stays it was nice to stay in a place that actually felt like a hotel but was equally as cosy and warm. The grounds and the hotel are very well decorated and maintained and it doesn't feel overwhelming at all; it feels like I took a step into a fairytale or Downton Abbey. I really love that the pool is not super close to the main hotel as it gives it its own tranquil, peaceful and special moment. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic. And I particularly loved the little bar. The staff are some of the warmest and friendliest I have had, from the front desk staff to the cooks. The room and bathroom are a good size and I love the big windows. We rented a car and so was really happy to have parking available.

Loved the shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom and would have loved some lotion to be available too.

We felt very uncomfortable with all the hunted animals all over the house: two heads of lions, complete leopard, bears, cocodrile, ivory tusks… this hotel is not for animal lovers.
