Het huis was ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn dat er 2 badkamers zijn!

A casa é muito boa, os vizinhos simpáticos, ambiente muito familiar. A relação qualidade preço é muito alta, vale mesmo a pena. Estacionar o carro junto à porta e descarregar as malas é muito confortável. Em termos de equipamento, a casa tem tudo o que faz falta a uma família. Tem um supermercado ao lado de casa e é próximo do centro de Ávila (4 minutos de carro). Ávila é uma cidade calma, com uma muralha lindíssima e bons restaurantes.

O ar condicionado poderia ser um pouco mais potente, mas reconheço que a vaga de calor excecional não ajudou. Estava mesmo muito calor.

Avila has a beautiful old town well worth visiting. The romanesque/ gothic cathedral is a masterpiece. We enjoyed the warren of medieval streets and atmosphere withing the old town walls. Definitely deserves its designation as a UNESCO world heritage site.

There is air conditioning in only 1 of the 3 bedrooms on the upper floor of this west facing town house. The 2 bedrooms without air conditioning were sweltering and difficult to sleep in. There are steep winding staircases up (to the bedrooms) and down (to the garage) from the main hallway that make this a poor choice for families with toddlers. Zero amenities at the swimming pool (no chairs or tables just an old chafing hard wood park bench) so okay for doing some laps, but not a place to relax with family.
