About this villa rental
My luxury Villa is a traditional Santorini cave house, totally renovated in a classy design yet with respect for our Cycladic architectural style. The cave houses - called "Yposkafa" in Greek - can be found in many of the traditional settlements of Santorini. They are actual, pretty functional for the time, houses which were built inside caves and are of great historical interest as it is a "living" proof of the earlier year’s local customs. It is an excellent option for holidaymakers seeking comfortable, elegant and tranquil accommodation. Its inside premises are spacious enough and consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an ample living room, and a kitchenettet whereas the outside, opens to a veranda where a private heated Jacuzzi is installed.
Guests can relax in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the majestic and unlimited views over the breath-taking volcanic cliffs and the unparalleled beauty of the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. There is access to a second level, where an outdoor sitting area and sun loungers are to be found.
A place where moments of relaxing in the Hot Tub, drinking some cold Santorini wine, lay down and sunbathe or enjoy the sunset become reality.

Our stay was wonderful. Our group was two couples sharing the property. Both bedrooms were spacious with en suite bath. The upper patio has breathtaking views and we used it after returning from dinner in the evening as well as in the morning before heading out. The area was quiet but well located to walk to shopping/restaurant areas.
Ionas (Ion) was our contact and was very informative about the area. He contacted us a few days before our arrival. (Don’t worry if you reach out further in advance and don’t hear back right away.)
He arranged transport from ferry, met us in person to check-in and spent time telling us everything about the island and answering questions. He recommended restaurants/activities/car rental and secured reservations even with short notice. He was very responsive during our stay. Ion’s honest opinions, advice, and assistance helped us make the most of our 3 nights in Santorini!

This property was well appointed and the description was accurate. The check in process was easy and advice offered on a variety of services/tours was excellent.
The main floor was well planned but the steps to the top deck where lounge chairs and a table were located were steep and uneven. Not suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

The property was in a great location, beautiful and perfect for two couples. The only negative was that no one responded to my email inquiries about restarants, catmaran reservations, parking etc... until the day before we arrived, so we blindly made our own...but, once we arrived the concierege was very attentive and helped us secure some reservations. We will hopefully be back to this beautiful island and this great property!
