About this house rental
This modern home has all the amenities needed to give you the comfort you desire in a vacation home. We are Pet Friendly (fees apply) and offer off street parking in our garage (please keep driveway clear as it is shared with a neighbor). This Beach House consists of 4 Bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, an attached garage, a back deck with a retractable awning, a large backyard that is perfect for your 4 legged friends, beautiful waterfront views from the west side of the home, and best of all we are right on the water.
This home does have a large Master Bedroom on the first or bottom floor. In addition it has a ramp on the back deck that can easily allow a wheel chair to access the home and all the downstairs amenities.
Our private little beach is perfect for swimming and wading.
For the fishermen, we have caught croaker, spot, blues, strippers and flounder all from the shore of our private beach!
It's a perfect place to launch canoes and kayaks, and I offer them for a small fee. Please contact me about them.
We've just installed a large 65" Smart TV on which you can stream your favorite services like Neflix, Hulu, Disney, etc.
Quiet hours begin at 9 PM.
This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise.
• There are NO PARTIES ALLOWED! We are in a quiet, tight-knit, residential community. Our neighbors will not hesitate to report any excessive noise to the Police and to us! Immediate eviction with **NO REFUND** will result if there is a party on the property.

Communication was fantastic . Questions answers before and after booking! The space was fantastic. They are making improvements to the property, everything isn’t pristine but it was great for us. The linen was new and some of the matresses too. We went off season so didn’t spent too much time outdoors but the beach access is a block away.Quiet neighbors, friendly people. Even saw a cat come passing through, lol. We came by RV so we used most of our own cookware. The kitchen appeared to be stocked with most things needed. Plenty of prep space, appliances are fairly new. We made use of the washer and dryer, older but worked amazing! The only thing the kids didn’t love was only one tv . We are restricted use kind of parents so not too much tablets. I found this to be great after the second night as we played games and family time. The sofa came in handy for that too! Plenty of grocery stores in the area. We are a family of 8 with ages from 6- teens alike. We were visiting our son in Newport News for this trip and hope to go back again!

Our family of 9 stayed at the house. We had plenty of room. My son fished at the pier which was within walking distance. We had a few issues with kitchen items missing. I called Kathleen and George and they fixed the problem quickly. They bought us all the supplies we needed in a timely manner. They were great hosts. We had our boat and enjoyed the city of Norfolk from the waterside. The ramp was just around the corner. All in all we had a great time and this house was very spacious for large groups. Thanks for letting us visit your city!!!!

Great location for beach play, access to freeway, and commute to Navy base. The house was big enough for our 5 kids to disperse. It had everything we needed!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice enough and even larger than we expected. However, there were many things that needed to be repaired/maintained. The blinds going out to the deck were broken and bunched up to the side. Actually, none of the blinds in the main living area would open. Some didn't even have the cord to pull attached. In the kitchen a cabinet door was broken and barely on. Limited kitchen supplies, which wasn't an issue for us as it was a short stay. However, if you are planning on cooking a lot this could be an issue. Many of the walls had scuff marks and dirt on them. Overall it could just use a little TLC. But a great size and nice for the price. It is also within walking distance to the public beach which we enjoyed.
