An Intimate getaway or affordable family gathering, the first floor of our island home is perfect for your carefree tropical vacation. The tidy and serene studio is arranged as a separate and independent living space and can accommodate two couples or a family of four. The airy, comfortable studio invites sights and sounds of a tropical paradise. Three sets of French doors frame your view of the surrounding mountain landscape. Enjoy basking in the splendor of the outdoors on the spacious wrap-around deck. Our grotto-inspired bathroom evokes the island’s history of stonework and exemplifies our love affair with outdoor living. Sun-drenched yet private, the enclosed shower offers a luxurious bathing experience.
Situated on level ground makes for trouble-free access and parking. The local grocery store, mail service, and restaurants, including local landmarks Skinny Legs, Johnny Lime and Indigo Grill are all within easy walking distance. Enjoy plenty of nightly entertainment--a simple 5-minute walk. Yoga and pilates classes convene a short walk from the house. Catch the VITRAN, the island shuttle bus, to world-class beaches for the day, hike the many trails on the eastern end of St. John, or head to the bustling town of Cruz Bay--for a dollar. Bars and restaurants, quaint boutiques and island ferry excursions are all conveniently located to the studio.

Utterly charming, perfectly located, spacious apartment with all amenities required. We loved the open air accommodation and wrap around porch. Marcia was an outstanding hostess who knows the island well. The information folder that was provided covered everything about the place and accurately set expectations for the surrounding neighborhood. Will certainly stay here again on our next trip.

Cozy comfort and relaxation made easy at this beautiful property. Our host, Marcia, took care to ensure our complete satisfaction, promptly responding to our occasional needs for adventure suggestions and directions. The location feels very private yet is close to the conveniences of “town”. Coral Bay is charming and laid back— much more island vibes than busy buzzy Cruz Bay (which is also lovely). Morning sunshine and ocean breezes fill the entire cottage including the outdoor shower on the deck. What a treat. Seemed lavish for a very affordable accommodation- relative to other options on the island.

The place exceeded my expectations. Quiet, relaxing, with wonderful breezes throughout the apt.
We had a great time on St. John and part of that was this lovely rental.
