From the moment we arrived Cristina made us feel welcome and at home. We loved our stay at Villa Sant'Elena...the outside space is lovely with a nice size pool with plenty of longers over looking the vineyard and Marche hills. There are also tables and chairs dotted about the garden and a brick BBQ for alfresco dining. We stayed in one of the top apartments which was clean and tidy and gorgeous views over the pool and beyond to the countryside. It did get hot but if you have the windows open late in the evening it does cool down a bit and there is a fan in the bedroom. Cristina is an amazing host, she left us a bottle of local wine in the fridge on arrival which was very much needed after the long drive. Cristina gave us lots of local recommendations for things to do and see in the area and local restaurants etc which was fab. The villa is a short walk to the little town Morro d'Alba(a bit of a steep hill to walk near the beginning on the way out but was okay and don't let that put your off) where there is some great restaurants, a bar/cafe, gelateria, butchers, bakers and a vineyard where you can have a tour, buy their wine and even better they do aperitivo evenings on a Friday. If you are in need of relaxation and a gorgeous place to stay with an extremely friendly and helpful host...this is the place. We will definitely be back Cristina :)
