For sailing enthusiasts, 4 minutes from the marina of Mortagne (sailing course for children, possibility of day trip by sailboat) and 30 minutes from Royan.
Possibility to cross the Gironde in Bac for a getaway in the Medoc by bike or by car from Royan or Blaye.
On the cultural level, there is every summer in Charente Maritime and in the surroundings of numerous animations (festival site on stage, the eurochestries, the violin on the sand of Royan, the festivale Fest'arts in Libourne, the jazz festival of Cognac, the Francofolies of La Rochelle, Bordeaux sound and light show ...)
Also take advantage of your stay to visit the beautiful city of Bordeaux (55 minutes from the house), the old city of Saintes (40 minutes) as well as the city of Saint Emilion (1H30) and its monolithic church.

We stayed here as 2 families each with 3 children. The house was spacious and well equipped with plenty of room for everyone.
The large patio had excellent seating for everyone with spectacular views. It was private and quiet.
There were activities for the children including table tennis and the pool was clean with comfortable loungers.
We loved the location and found lots to do round about. We have been to France as 2 families 6 times now and this house has been our favorite. Would highly recommend!

Très grande maison, bien aménagée et équipée. Superbe emplacement, au calme, sans vis-à-vis, avec une magnifique vue. Espace piscine très agréable.
Mais nous avons été gênés par de malencontreuses effluves d'égout, intermittentes, surtout la nuit. Les propriétaires ont été très réactifs en faisant aussitôt vérifier la fosse sceptique, par un professionnel mais sans résultat probant.
Moins grave, odeurs d'humidité à l'étage inférieur.

Très bon emplacement, les petits barbecues avec vue sur l'estuaire étaient parfait. Les chambres sont de bonne qualité, ainsi que le dortoir. Je recommande vivement cette location

1er contact très sympathique avec la propriétaire. Une belle surprise à l arrivée. Une grande maison, bel extérieur et une terrasse avec une vue sur la Gironde qui permet d arrêter le temps. Proximité à voiture des 1ères plages et marchés. A découvrir entre amis ou en Familles.
