A very nice place to stay! It’s traditional, which makes it very Greek. In the morning (until 9 o’clock) some sun on the big balcony, after that, all day shadow! Everything is close by. The Old Harbour 6 minutes, the centre 10-15 mail minutes (depending on your condition). A quiet beach (Garifalos), 9 minutes walking.
Mr. Vangelis wants you to take good care of his house, because he loves his house. So, he has some rules. He is always there -or by phone- if you need something, or if you have questions. A special and generous person!
The two one-person beds didn't have a bedside lamp. But with some improvisation I could read in bed, with light!

het appartement is heel ruim en heeft een voortreffelijk balkon met een heerlijk uitzicht in een hele rustige wijk. Dat laatste is gelijk een negatief punt. Als het aantal meters naar dorp of strand vermeld staat is dat hemelsbreed en daarbij staat niet vermeld dat je in de bloedhitte flink moet klimmen. Ook heeft het huis eigenlijk geen adres, waardoor een taxi bellen moeilijk is. Op redelijke loopafstand is supermarktje en bakker (maar ook klimmen) en daar stopt een bus naar het strand, maar die gaat na half september nog maar 2 x per dag. Als je ouder bent of niet in goeie conditie, dan is dit appartement geen goed idee, ondanks het feit dat het een heerlijk appartement is (wel met harde bedden). Opmerking: er staat: vaatwasser (is er niet) en wasmachine (is er ook niet, je mag wel de wasm. van de eigenaar gebruiken, maar die moet hij dan eerst aansluiten)
Het is echt een heerlijk appartement, maar dorp en strand best ver weg en lopen niet makkelijk als je ouder bent of in slechte conditie. Daar staat tegenover de rust die je krijgt, omdat je overal ver vanaf zit. Het balkonterras is een voltreffer
