Brilliant location and big beds for a boat

Super nice stay at the boat White Dove. Enjoying Marina life without being a hard core sailor family. So nice, close to everthing you need in Gibraltar! Very helpful staff.

It was in the Marina, and I always wanted to stay overnight on a yacht

It’s a bit pricey and not very roomy for 4 people.

The host gave guests vouchers for a light breakfast at the local ship inn The location was superb, lots of bars, restaurant and casino within walking distance.

There was no proper heating on the boat, 1 small heater was provided but was totally inadequate for the cold night and you could not get rid of the smell of damp on the boat. If you put the kettle on, whilst the heater was on the electrics tripped The host insisted that there was a no shoes rule on the boat or deck and you were told you had to take your shoes off and leave them at the side of the 4 steps to get onto the deck on the boat on the quayside - no issue with that , but in a morning the deck was wet and slippy which was not only dangerous but it was also wet feet for everyone ! The boat was not secure , there was no way to lock it , the hosts response we don’t have crime in Gibraltar - so all valuables and passports had to come with us each time we went out . You are not allowed to sit out on the deck after 10pm at night - Marina Rules ! It was advertised as 2 en-suites, but it only had 1 en-suite and a separate toilet in the lounge area Something that the host must make clear on all adverts is the rule that there is no solid waste in the toilets on board, liquid was permissible, but absolute nightmare trying to flush toilet , toilet / shower block provided by marina 50mtrs but to access you had to walk up a ramp, cross an access road and down another ramp The host advised us not to use the shower on the boat as the water tank was over 20 years old and they could not guarantee what was in it. We never found the Salt water pool that is described in the adverts
