Akkurat hva vi ønsket oss i dagene ved foten av Taormina. Viktig for oss å ha lett tilgang til havet. Her var det 5 minutter ned til vakre Isola Bella. Benyttet ellers stranden lenger sør, 20 min å gå. 2 min ned til kabelbanen som bringer deg til vakre Taormina sentrum . Vertinnen var svært hjelpsom og ordnet med taxi’ er etter våre behov. Hun sørget også for at vi fikk satt fra oss bagasjen etter utsjekk og frem til vi skulle til flyplassen på ettermiddagen .Vi kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet.

Ingenting

De accommodatie is gezellig en letterlijke voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. De locatie is perfect for bezoek aan Taormina in combinatie met het strand. En ook bezoek aan de Erna kan prima vanaf deze plek.

Het koffieapparaatje is erg eenvoudig maar gelukkig is ‘coffee to go’ uit barretjes vlek bij snel gehaald. WiFi zou wat beter kunnen.

Location is perfect. Close to a beach and easy to reach the city by bus(cheaper) or a cable cart(better view). The apartment is clean and cosy, you can say that it’s loved. Small kitchen with everything you need to cook comfortably. Owner is just amazing! She provided me a map with best local food and places before we even sighed a contract 😊 She is always ready to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Have a lot of cafes, restaurants and small food shops in the area.

1. Make sure you take earplugs with you if you are a light sleeper. The apartment on a first flour is a bit underground and right next to crossroads. So it feels like cards drives over your head. You can also hear your neighbours and people outside. 2. The view outside a balcony on a first flour to the road. Maybe second flour is better. 3. Some minor issue in the apartment like leaking shower but nothing critical. 4. If you want a beach vacation, renting an apartment is not your option in Taormina. The public part of the beach is very small, uncomfortable and occupied by all sorts of seller. Most part of the beach is “private” where you have to pay an unreasonable price to stay there. Better to book a hotel with its own beach.
