Domaine De La Chapelle

The breakfast was wonderful, delightful crockery and cutlery, presented beautifully. Delicious fresh bakery items, a beautiful fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice. Plus an egg omelette on request. I asked for cheese and it was a generous selection that arrived on a lovely decorative platter, with seeds and fresh herbs. My husband commented on the coffee saying it was excellent, he could not understand how we could not provide coffee like it in England! We sat by the side of the pool in the shade. Gorgeous pots and lush plants all around. Quiet and peaceful location with large grounds, close to a charming village. The swimming pool and surround was incredibly clean, surrounded by well tended lawns and a fountain. We enjoyed the honesty bar and large fridge provided for guests use if requiring their own light lunch, which could be eaten by guests around the pool. Very relaxed, calm, atmosphere. Madame Astrid was absolutely lovely and could not do enough to help. We cannot wait to return with our family, as this visit was to attend a wedding. A perfect room with a supremely comfortable bed, walk in wardrobe and air conditioning. we run our own Airbnb and we are very particular, we were most impressed all round! Thank you so much Domaine de la Chapelle and all the kind staff.

All we could think of was that a full length mirror would have been helpful in the walk in wardrobe. Hardly a criticism!!

The hotel is beautifully presented! The gardens are gorgeous, the breakfast was lovely and served by the smiliest and cheeriest staff! The whole pool area is beautiful! The owner - Astrid - could not be more helpful and accommodating! Love it here and really want to come again!

The building, the room, the pool and the grounds are all beautiful. The staff are so helpful and lovely to chat with. And Tess, the gorgeous dog, brings extra character to a delightful stay. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

The air conditioning unit was very noisy and the shower on/off tap was hard to operate.

I found the staff incredibly rude to myself and others on several occasions.
