One Farrer Hotel

The executive package that comes with a skyline room and the amazing hospitality provided by the senior staff particularly under Malek. He is a true professional. Housekeeping were very efficient but it took a day for them to realise my room was being used. I was upgraded which was kind and sensible but housekeeping at the weekend did not know.

Not sure about the lounge at 19 for lunch. It's a bit down market from the previous version on the 28th floor. If costs are an issue increase the room rate to cover it. Don't like the amount of light in the room at night. Flood lights under the bedside units. Not necessary. And for a sleep apnoea suffer a problem trying to stay asleep. They need switches so we can turn them off. First day, Saturday, room was not serviced till almost 4pm. I realise the need to turn around a vacated room but this should not be at the expense and discomfort of current guests. Particularly distressing for me as I was there grieving my wife who made the booking but died 20 weeks earlier. Maybe a few more staff members might solve the problem?

Cleanliness, polite & friendly staff

Price is in the high side. Breakfast in lounge is not as great as in Whampoa Cafeteria.

The Breakfast was very pricy and not very good, what it cost the brekkie should be first class The pool etiquette, you have men standing around in SEE THROUGH THONGS, when you have 3 teenagers with you it’s the last thing you want to see, the 2 girls were not amused. I reported this to reception TWICE and they did not have the decency to come back to me . SHOCKING state of affairs

Rooms were clean and quite spacious. The pool is exceptional and huge The close proximity to an MRT station is excellent The staff were friendly.

The breakfast is expensive and confusing-nobody explained what was on offer. The pool was not ever staffed so it was hard to get a drink or food whilst by the pool
