部屋は広くバスルームも専用でビデもあり快適でした。エアコンはありませんがファンがあったのでそれで空調は大丈夫でした。セキュリティゲートを通って入るエリアなので治安の面で安心でしたし、すぐそばには店やレストランはありませんが、ショッピングモールまで車で送っていただけました。基本はスペイン語オンリーですが、一生懸命にコミュニケーションをとろうとして下さり、ホストのご夫婦の人柄の良さにはとても癒されました。
グアテマラでは普通なのかもしれませんが、ホストの家（一つ屋根の下）の一室に宿泊するということに到着して驚きました。敷地内に住んでおられるんだろうと思っていましたが、まさかホストの寝室と向かい合わせとは思わず、全てのエリアがご夫婦と共用だったのでやはりとても気を使いました。セキュリティエリアのためUberの迎え（正しい場所にピンが落ちない）やちょっとした買い物も少し歩かなければいけないのが若干不便でした。それからグアテマラは毎日大渋滞するため、ここから中心部のzoneに行くのにはかなり時間がかかります。
