Villa Giovanna

This is such a gorgeous wee house, with a beautiful garden and outdoor eating/seating area. We loved the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and the two bedrooms are lovely. The location is also fantastic - just a minute from the beach and less than 5 mins walk from all the shops, bars and restaurants. It's a great little resort too - lively and busy, but still very pretty and authentically Greek in ambience. Giovanna was super-helpful and responsive to all my questions and is keen to help in any way she can to ensure a fabulous holiday.

The house is located in a perfect spot with beautiful gardens. It is well laid out with all the things you need. It was very clean and what looked like brand new towels. They also left a bottle of wine and juice. There was also tea bags (we brought our own) coffee and a bit sugar. It’s our first time to stay in self catering accommodation and we didn’t know what to expect. If you enjoy sitting in the sun and not being surrounded be other people this property will be perfect especially if you have young children who can play outside in the very safe garden. This would be perfect. We generally just shower and sleep at accommodation. There is a pool nearby you can use as well. Location is great as well. We also had a cat sleeping in our garden every day who came to say hello. Air conditioning worked fab and was in all main rooms.

The road is a little noisy but not a huge problem after a few vinos. There isn’t a fixed shower so you have to hold the shower head which was a bit awkward. Property had loads of china but only 4 mugs - could be a few more - there is a dishwasher but as we didn’t eat in the property we simply washed them up. There is a great space outside but it would have been fab to have some sun loungers. (2 x deckchair and patio chairs) as we would have stayed in the property to sunbathe.

Really well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, fab outdoor area and garden, clear instructions and very generous welcome gifts. We also particularly loved the visits from the garden tortoise! Its in a really good location with a beach a 2 minute walk away and is very close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops.

It’s located on quite a busy road which could be tricky with younger children and we had one son sleeping in the communal area (kitchen-lounge-dining room) where he said the sofa was quite hard and we disturbed him in the morning!
