Nice large house with incredible views of the straits. Lots of parking and heating works well.
Small details, like some dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll would have been nice. Couldn’t find any hairdryers so assumed they were not provided.

The protest was amazing with stunning views. It was a little dated but the beds and bedding definitely need upgrading.
The bedroom downstairs needs an update the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bedding was well past its best

The location is perfect for exploring Anglesey - being very close to Menai Bridge gives easy access to the main roads around the island. The views over the Menai Straits with Snowdonia in the distance are stunning in all weathers.
The house is spacious and gives plenty of space and flexible living areas for a family or larger group. The 2 living areas both have fabulous views as do 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms.
The terrace is stunning with views for miles!
The double bed in the biggest bedroom was the softest bed I have ever slept in, and although this isn’t to everyone’s taste I slept brilliantly! It has a foam topper on the mattress which I found super comfy. Try out all the beds before committing as they are varying firmness so should find one to suit 🙂
There is loads of storage in all the bedrooms and the kitchen.
Don’t rely on the WiFi as it is very patchy and affected watching tv in the evenings via streaming services.
The cold tap in the kitchen sounded like it was going to explode every time we used it so don’t sneak down for a drink of water in the night! We got used to it and had a giggle about it ☺️
Some of the crockery and the frying pan hadn’t been cleaned properly so I did have to wash a fair bit before use but as the rest of the house was very clean we didn’t mind this too much.

Size of property was great. Lots of room for children to run about. Not much by way of grounds so we had to keep them outside as there were gaps at both sides of the decking.
It wasn’t terribly clean. I changed the bedding as it had not been changed prior to the arrival. There are lots of locked cupboards in the property which my daughter described as ‘creepy’.

The place was massive!
It's definitely a place where you'll need a car/taxi to get into the city central or to get any groceries. Not something negative, but just something to bear in mind!

The views were magnificent
Had everything you could want
Comfortable and welcoming
Would have liked to have seen a grit or sand container at the top of the drive for winter guests the little steep hill was treacherous when we had snow but did not spoil our enjoyment of our stay

Great place, huge rooms lots of space for us. The view from the lounge is spectacular!! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Chateau Rhianfa over the road was very welcoming and let us go in for drinks and have a look around which is definitely worth it. There is a pub in the village behind the house and also a little shop which was only a 15 min walk
could do with an extra bathroom/shower if you have a full house. The mattresses in the room downstairs and the upstairs room with en-suite were very uncomfortable, our friends had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep comfortably.

Excellent location, just a short stroll to village shops. The decked area of the property overlooked the Menai Straights with wonderful, relaxing views.
Beautiful, spacious lounge area.
Lovely bathrooms.
Spacious bedrooms with lots of storage space.
Don't get me wrong, the property was beautiful but we were a group of ladies and would have preferred more choice of twin beds in the bedrooms. All the beds were extremely comfortable, with the exception of the two single beds which were not so, but saying that they looked like they were child sized, so would have been perfectly adequate for a child.
It was an extremely hot weekend stay so all the windows were opened, it was a little disappointing to see that the inside of the windows when opened needed a clean (but lets face it, how many of us clean our own at home to this degree, so not really a negative but maybe the owners would want to address this once brought to their attention).
It certainly wouldn't put me off going again as the property is truly beautiful.

Beautiful house in a perfect location, loads of rooms and space, equipped with everything that you may need, a beautiful balcony with stunning views
The only issue was the smell of damp downstairs, that really needs to be addressed and was the only thing that spoilt our stay as everything else was perfect

Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank our hosts, who were truly lovely. Helpful, approachable, friendly, professional and contactable!!
I would recommend looking the property up on google maps, prior to arriving, as it is tucked away and my Sat Nav sent us on a little jaunt.
The property is spacious, homely, warm and inviting. Initially, we were a little concerned due to the steps leading to the house, that my 84yr young Mom, may need assistance but they are gently graduated and she managed very well. There is plenty of parking and motion sensor lights to the exterior, making access easy.
My Son and Daughter in Law, had travelled from London and were exhausted after a year of hard work. Having stayed in 4-5* hotels in and around Anglesey previously, they were both delighted with the accommodation and layout of the house.
It afforded us family time, whilst allowing individual privacy, for remote work, which three of us had to undertake during our stay.
The downstairs spacious double bedroom, with full en-suite, allowed my Mom to have real independence whilst still being with us and not having to manage stairs.
All the rooms were clean, warm and inviting. The two living rooms, were perfect for our needs, as though my Son and I are keen football fans, my Daughter in Law and Mom did not fancy watching back to back games and so, were able to enjoy the separate viewing.
All pots, pans, cutlery, etc were provided. We ordered a food delivery from Waitrose, which arrived promptly and without issue. There is a back up fridge and freezer in the utility room, along with the fridge in the kitchen/breakfast room.
I would advise ensuring that you have all the supplies you will need, should your stay include a Sunday, as local shops close early and if you run out of milk, you may need to drive to a few locations to find any!
Our take away from our visit, were wonderful family memories - which in our opinion are priceless.
We will definitely be booking to stay again.
Nothing. This is a comfortable, spacious, family home & we were delighted to have been able to experience its warmth and the warmth and generosity of the hosts. It was perfect for us to decompress.

Excellent stay , excellent location

The location was excellent, as were the views of the Menai Strait from both terrace and lounge. The property is the perfect size for large groups. There is ample private parking in front of the property.
Sadly this list is longer than the positives. Were it only a few of these items, it would not have been an issue but for the price we paid, the following issues, in total, made it disappointing:
The wooden terrace was in a very poor condition, very worrying as it is built on stilts quite high in the air. The wood was rotting on the safety fence and some support beams - this mean the floor 'flexed' worryingly so in places.
The shower drains were blocked and required plunging to get the water to drain.
None of the lights on the terrace worked, which meant for very dark evening meals.
None of the spot lights in the kitchen worked but the two main ceiling lights did work.
The TV in the snug had a fault (indicated by a flashing red and blue light) and would not turn on.
The batteries in the main lounge TV remote control were dead, so it needed operating via the buttons on the back.
Several light bulbs in the lounge had gone.
The old electric hob in the kitchen had been cleaned so many times that all the temperature labels had disappeared and even once we'd worked out what heat level we wanted, it took an age to actually heat up - on it's last legs.
The towels provided all had a faint smell to them, which transferred to us when we used them - smelt like they'd not been properly dried before being put away.

The view from the main window was fantastic.
Big kitchen to use and everything you needed .
Spoilt for choice as to which bedroom to have .
Having the Wifi was great . Comfortable to just sit and relax.
Lots of towels.
The directions to finding the house were not helpfull.Very helpful.
Once off the mainroad it was not clear enough as to where to go . Had to ring the owner .
Outside security light wasnt working ,had to be carefull going up the steps . On leaving this was being rectified.
