Bordering a very busy road so very noisy if your windows are open especially in summer - carry your own fans if needed. Advertised as 2 bath but 1 only has shower and other only has a bath - depending on choice only 1 will be effective.

This cottage is lovely, very well situated, and bigger than the pictures make it look. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well kept, with thoughtful touches that show the host has really thought about the small things that make the stay perfect. There were Welsh cakes in the kitchen for us when we arrived, plenty of books and games to keep us entertained during downtime, and a fantastic info sheet to help us settle in and learn about the area.

The bed was a little bit rickety, but this would be fine with a little tightening.

Fabulous, friendly, approachable hosts. Great location for walking/hiking. Lovely pub in village very short walk away serving great food. Cottage very well equipped. Lovely decor. Clean, good quality bedding, and fluffy clean towels. Comfy beds and pillows. Dog friendly. Clean toilets, sinks, basins, shower, bath etc....all spotlessly clean.

Second bedroom very small, but this was not really an issue for us. Spiders and old webs by tv, above curtain rails, under furniture, down side of washing machine and in radiators. Spiders and webs in the boiler cupboard. Dust in corners of stairs and on skirting boards. Apart from that all very clean and perfectly acceptable. We removed 30+ spiders on our first day, and more throughout our stay. They were mainly pholcidae, commonly known as a "daddy longlegs spiders". There were two big ones. We cut our holiday short by two days and two nights as my son's asthma was irritated there, and I do suffer badly from arachnophobia so staying there proved stressful for me. I guess most people could cope with spiders, especially as most were small, but I cannot. I rarely get them in my own home. I did inform the hosts why we were having to leave early. In fairness I do not suppose you can help having spiders and webs around in an old cottage. We enjoyed some lovely days out with glorious weather.
