Very high price for what they offer...

City center location, close enough for all Craiova points of interest, good breakfast, clean room.

We arrived earlier that the check in hour, around 11 AM. We didn't expected for the room to be ready at that time, even one of the two rooms was available. In this case, we came back around 2 PM, hoping that we can take the room. The staff was horrible, nothing linked to the price of the hotel and to the high expectations that someone paying for this kind of acomodation. The front desk didn't even said something. We waited, until 3.15 PM, Nowhere else , in an other hotel, happened something like this. Next day, at the breakfast, they started to count our cups of coffee - we were four persons. The lady could understand that one of us can ask for the second cup of coffee . Doesn't worth the money for not beeing a four stars hotel. Anyway not much to see or to do in Craiova, no bookshops, no cultural life.

I book this cosy boutique hotel every time I am travelling to Craiova, which is a couple of times per year. It continues to deliver excellent value for money, with very friendly staff and great food

Great stay with friendly staff and good restaurant

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise — delicious food and great service. The only downside was the sofa bed, which wasn’t very comfortable for sleeping. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and we’d be happy to stay here again.

Amazing hotel, we stayed three nights. The room that we had was beautiful and the hotel is like a small palace. Everything was perfect, the breakfast was very good, with a lot of choices including traditional romanian dishes. The pictures are nice, but it is a lot better in reality. Exceptional hotel, don't hesitate to book, the best in Craiova!

Fabulous place

Breakfast is excellent. Staff are very polite and willing to help. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and stylish. The location is on a quiet street but 2 minutes away from the centre. Excellent stay (our third or fourth, I think). It is our go to in Craiova.

If the hotel is full, parking in the yard is problematic. However there is street parking available. Also, for someone with mobility issues, access to the first floor rooms would be difficult. Just a word of warning

- staff, very kind and helpful - the hotel is in a late 19th century villa, somewhat elegant and relatively well renovated - excellent breakfast - room and bathroom quite big, clean - great location, close to the old town - parking in the yard (if you are lucky to find a place)

- some stairs to go up and down, including in the rooms (our room was on the first floor); but it's not a big problem if you have reasonable mobility

Great experience overall

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Large, extremely tall room with beautiful, high-quality furniture and spotless clean. Comfortable beds and solid soundproofing as well. The hotel is located on a very silent street anyway. The staff was extremely polite and well trained, the food was varied and tasty for breakfast, and overall a really, really pleasant experience.

Amazing royal experience
