The view was incredible and was great base to watch the Tour de France. The apartment itself is exactly like the photos. It is like stepping back in time with the kitchen/decor but most things you could need are there and work fine. Great powerful shower. The bedding situation was a little confusing. There were 3 single mattresses for the bunk beds. There were sofa beds also. We were asked to pay additionally (not included in booking) for sheets and towels but were only given enough for 3 people.

This was a rental through an agency which was located beneath the apartment. The process was not straightforward as there were a lot of emails about collecting the keys, paying for towels and sheets (which I’ve never known before but perhaps that is a standard French agency thing) so it added an additional €120 to the booking and a bit more admin stress. When you arrived, you had to login through an app and document the photos on arrival which tried repeatedly to make you buy insurance if you damaged the property. There was no soap or dishwashing liquid -apparently guests are expected to bring their own. Again, this is the first I’ve experienced this. However, the lovely lady at the agency gave us a couple of sample sized bottles. -construction noise from next door is loud and starts early. We had a great time but I wouldn’t stay again mainly due to the agency admin/payment for bedding.
