Absolutely everything we wished for and more!!!

We had a very enjoyable holiday, and we hope to be back again at some stage in the future.

The villa was really very good indeed. Nicely decorated. Well equipped and very clean. The location was just about perfect. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the nearby beaches and a short walk to the several very good restaurants in the town. We can definitely recommend this property. Panormos itself was very nice. Easy to get to from Heraklion airport (about 1 hour by car) and close to the main road / highway running east / west across the island. It was easy to get to other nearby places of interest.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was really very good.

Lovely Panormos.

A fantastic location. The lovely village of Panormos, with beach, restaurants and amenities (such as supermarket and pharmacy) minutes away. The villa host was so friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious with lovely bathrooms.

Be mindful that if you visit in the less warm months that the pool isn't heated, and as it can be quite windy that limits the enjoyment of the outside space.

We were excited to spend a week with the family especially our 2 year old grandson and our daughter who is 6 months preg

The location was fabulous the villa was beautiful and the owners parents were delightful.

Contessa de Mare is a great vacation home!

From the moment we arrived everything was great! Christina, the host, was waiting for us with keys and tour of the property. She was available for anything we needed during our full stay. The property is in a great location- amazing sunsets, access to beach, access to many tavernas. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped. I would highly recommend this property!

I don't have any complaints. If I must be super picky- house sits on an open corner where people across the street go to see the sunsets. During this time there isn't much privacy. It was not an issue for us.

Wonderful Villa in a great location. Very nice sea view. The first line is all within walking distance. Restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, a pharmacy, souvenir shops. Great place to relax away from the noise. Visited this place for the first time. Thanks for the hospitality! Christina, the hostess of the Villa, is very hospitable. Always ready to help Modern style in the interior, expensive finishes and what design and deco 😍 Clean, spacious and comfortable enough for a beach holiday. A fantastic experience all-around.

Contessa Del Mare is a gem. We had a wonderful time, had plenty of space, and we felt supported and welcomed throughout our stay. It was awesome. Here are some things that we loved, in no particular order: The hosts are kind, guest-centered, and incredibly welcoming. The villa is spacious, with plenty of room for common activities as well as privacy. The rooms are big, clean, and built with an eye for detail, comfort and great design. We were 5 people and we felt like we could easily have had another 3-4 with us. The WiFi is great. It supported, in parallel, 2 students joining for online lectures, one teacher giving out lectures, and two people on business calls. Great coverage throughout the house. The views and location are amazing. The small town is driving distance from some great towns, wineries, and historical landmarks. The beach is so close and is absolutely beautiful. There is a nice vantage point with benches overlooking the ocean across the street. We couldn't hear any noise coming from the street - be it from cars or anything else. Mosquito nets and shutter-blinds on every window made us feel safe. There are airconditioners in every room. The kitchen is filled with all kinds of amenities which make everyday life and cooking at home much, much easier. Basic spices and condiments make it feel like home. The pool might not be huge, but it's just enough for a nice dip on a hot day. We didn't use it as we spent most of our time at the beach anyway! There is an elevator and some parking space out front. There is a PS4 game system and satellite TV. The property is managed by Etouri, which make the trip 100 X better. Free of charge, you get lightning fast and courteous activity recommendations, restaurant bookings, and great communication on everything you might need. We used the car rental company that was recommended and honestly it was the best experience we've had in so many years of travel now. Just a great partnership all around.

Honestly the great parts far outweigh any minor elements that we could mention here. Give this villa a try - you'll love it.

Exceptional

The location was beyond perfect, with amazing views of the sea from all angles! Panormos was also great as a small village resort with lovely restaurants and cobbled streets. Really impressed by the house design and layouts, huge rooms with enough space for everyone.

The pool was quite small for so many of us but the sea is only 1min away so we didn't end up using it as much. It's also not that sunny in the garden at times due to the positioning but similarly, the beach across the road has sun-loungers.

A lovely villa with great views

The views were great, easy to walk into town, multiple beaches to swim from. The house was lovely and clean, well kitted out for holiday rentals. Christina was lovely and most helpful.

It was on the corner of a T-junction, which we hadn’t appreciated from the photos, and so you could see/hear the traffic and people going past but the view and ease of walking to the beach and into town made up for it.
