Arena an der Friedberger Warte

The only good thing - and has nothing to do with this awful hotel except location. Theres a great restaurant nearby called Innenhof und Apfelwein Restaurant. Its a must go. Frankfurter Schnitzel with green sauce with fried potatoes or french fries and meet up with lovely locals. Staff in the restauant is the absolute best and very attentive!

Staff incapable of communicating with customers in basic english. You need to know German to be able to get across. One person in reception in particular is very rude and lies. He told me I was the only one to complain and out the 5 other guests I talked to - they all complained. He was trying to gaslight me (and others) and was just the absolut worst nightmare! He needs to learn some manners or you might as well close down the hotel. The "Manager" was suppose to call me - and I had no one call me in the 4 days I was in Franfurt. No efforts what so ever was done to correct the inappropriateness of the situations occuring. When you book - they will promise things that they are not able to keep - and 700EUR for 3 nights - you might expect just a little bit of comfort - well there was NONE. The bed was big - but cheap and no comfort and the sheetprotectors in the bed are all curled up - its like lying on gravel. The pillows are the cheapest versions possible and are all knots. The room (205) that was suppose to be the BEST was absolutely horrific! It looked nothing like the pictures (it was all crammed - no space) and McDonalds parking just outside with alot of noise ALL NIGHTS. Partying and arguying all night- and thin walls and no effort to close noise out - absolut horror. When the tram passes every 12 minutes it feels like the breaks are hit in the room. The walls between the rooms are so thin you hear other guests snoring, farting and even low conversations! It really is that bad. I would not stay here again - not even if I was paid to. There is even more negative feedback to give - but I cannot be bothered with this awful place - not even one minute more! Do not stay here if you need to be well rested and/or want a comfortable stay!

Nothing, terrible experience.

Shortly after arrival, we found a dead insect - maybe a bed bug - in the sheets of one of the beds. As we do not want to risk bed bugs, but also not want to sleep in a bed with another dead insect, we left the hotel. The hotel did not provide a refund. Terrible hotel.
