An idyllic retreat in the hills of Serralunga
Andrea was waiting at the property for me when I arrived from the airport to show me around the property, which is located only a few minutes walk from the idyllic, picturesque village of Serralunga d'Alba. The apartment is well appointed and the sofa bed was the most comfortable i've ever slept on. You are just outside the village but it is completely silent and peaceful at night. A perfect spot with private outside space a nice touch for a modestly priced studio apartment.

Parking availability - being in the middle of a town that can be quite crowded Ease of access from Alba in a very charming village which has lots of top wineries and good restaurants Nice master bedroom and a nice room with bunk beds for the kids Good heating
I don't like the fact that I had to pay EUR 10 in addition per night for the heating (EUR 10 - really?) who has a EUR 310 monthly heating bill? We were pressed to have check out time earlier No shower soap made available which can be a problem when you check in on a public holiday and have not brought yours

A wonderful spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation with good wines.
Our hosts Salvatore and Anna were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to be the only guests for the week and we enjoyed the balcony and pool for ourselves. It has stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The apartment was not fancy, but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was worth paying extra during this very hot week. The town is very calm and quiet but has wonderful restaurants and wine bars.
The property shares a front yard with a derelict building which diminishes the overall appearance of the apartment. The garden in the back was a bit overgrown.

A little bit of paradise!
The owners were lovely & friendly and their apartments were well set up and very comfortable. We loved the location and enjoyed walking around town each evening after dinner. It was great to finally get somewhere that had a washing machine, it made being in a warm climate easier. The pool was great too.
We loved everything & we're sad to leave.

Centrum serralunga
Parking mogelijk bij verblijf, ligging vlakbij de wijngaarden. Mooie wandeling mogelijk. Ligging vlakbij centrum van serralunga.
Het was mij niet duidelijk uit de foto's dat er geen aparte slaapkamer is, bed en keuken staan in 1 ruimte met een luidruchtige koelkast. Wij sliepen hierdoor niet goed. De uitrusting (meubels en keukengerei) zijn eerder niet kwalitatief en comfortabel. (Geen grote pannen aanwezig, (tuin)stoelen/bed niet comfortabel). Zwakke wifi in kamer. Tip voor de eigenaar: voor een mooier uitzicht de extra omheining (paaltjes met ketting) aan het zwembad verwijderen of vervangen door mooier alternatief.
