I don't normally stay in hostels but I thought I would give this one a try for one night. I'm so happy that I did. My room was clean and modern with a powerful air con to keep me cool. Staff was very friendly and sent a complimentary tuk tuk to pick me up at the bus station. I loved the food and drinks at the rooftop bar/restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!

Affordable and Well-Organized Day Tours This hostel organizes very affordable day tours, which I would highly recommend joining.

The house rules explicitly state a quiet environment is to be adhered to from 10pm to 7am. Okay 7am seems a little late in the morning for travelers that which to get up with the sunrise and explore the area and 10pm seems a little late. Generally quiet time is 9pm to 5:30am. However, I thought I could live some noise up to 10pm if necessary because in reading through all the various house rules and looking further at rules written on the walls, it seemed this establishment wanted to ensure a relatively quiet environment. It was midnight when I finally went down to talk to the staff and it should have been earlier. I was told the restaurant upstairs didn't close at 10pm, only the kitchen closed at that time. In other words, the partiers were allowed to keep partying right above our heads until the manager deemed it too late. Finally, at midnight, it was over and we were able to get at least 5 hours of sleep. If you put your house rules in writing and make them clearly known to others, they should be adhered to. Cambodia is a sunrise to sunset country. The early am hours are prime time to visit the local temples without the heat and crowds.
