Step outside onto the decking and enjoy the views before slipping into that hot tub for some true time out. When you head back inside, the open plan living space makes a welcoming spot to cosy up in front of the log burner on a chilly day.
The impressive kitchen is enough to inspire even the most reluctant of cooks, and we can't think of a better spot to dine al fresco than on the balcony while you soak up those views. Set just metres from the lake, Heron lodge makes any escape special. Back inside, and that king size bed in the master bedroom will make long lazy lie-ins all too tempting, and the second room has twin beds perfect for younger members of the clan. With a spacious feel throughout, Heron Lodge has a bright, airy design that makes it easy to unwind in between those days out exploring.
Nestled amidst six acres of landscaped woodland, Heron Lodge is all about getting close to nature and spending time together in style. Perched on the edge of three shimmering fishing lakes, this collection of lodges is popular with anglers – and fishing can be arranged for a small charge. Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

We were welcomed by the owner, she is extremely lovely and kind. She took time to show us round, explaining how to use the log burner and hot tub.
We had an issue while there with the Wi-Fi not working and she responded to us straight away and sorted it for us very quickly.
The lodge itself is beautiful and spacious. The hot tub is amazing, and the view across the lake is even more amazing.
It is within driving distance of lots of places, and a supermarket to buy groceries.
Overall an amazing stay away and we would definitely be coming back.
