Des appartements au calme dans un immeuble historique

Excellent location, spacious apartment and private courtyard meant it was quiet. Host attended promptly when I had a query. Nice touch including towels and coffee pods. WiFi included which with 4 pre-teen/teen boys was very welcome. Overall, excellent value for money.

Only complaint was the smell of drains from the bathroom which was quite overpowering in the morning but we did leave the window open and door closed and it was better.

A large and quiet apartment in the calm of an inner yard, in the pedestrian centre of Beziers. Space, light and warmt in the middle of winter. Very flexible and helpful owner.

The apartment is in the middle of the residential neighborhood in the "acropolis", the old citadel, located on a hilltop. It's a pretty spectacular location! The acropolis is home to the beautiful cathedral of Beziers, certainly worth a visit, and to other charming old churches, squares, shops, a 5-10 minute walk from the flat. The apartment is small, but cozy, with a well equipped kitchen, complete with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a fridge, a coffee machine (even with few complimentary capsules), a toaster, a microwave, an oven. No dishwasher or washer. The place looks like it's been renovated recently and it's well maintained. I appreciated the air conditioning and the fan, which felt needed during the hours of sunlight.

Parking is not simple. There's a garage parking not far from the place: try to use that, as venturing in the narrow streets of the acropolis can get tricky, especially for wide vehicles. The parking garage has a maximum clearance of 1.8 5mt. A little unloading and carrying from and to your car will be necessary...

it was very noisy late into the night and then again in the morning from the apartment next door, possibly also owned by the same person. Both apartments opened onto a courtyard and we were asked not to open those windows and be quiet, presumably the other occupants were also asked but did not comply. Also the toilet was in a corner of the kitchen area.
