A family-run, bed and breakfast-style hotel/inn right next to the train station. This is a real advantage, as it is literally just a few steps away from the Tatra tram terminus. The entire hotel and the rooms are very clean, stylishly furnished and sufficiently spacious. Breakfast (8:00-10:00) is buffet style and the selection is plentiful. The owner is pleasant and very helpful. Accommodation can only be paid for in cash. We were completely satisfied and definitely recommended. 🙂👍

We chose the location because it was very close to the bus and train stations. It was easy to find (visible even from the train).
The room was large and comfortable.
On arrival, there was no-one in the building: we had to phone a number posted by the entrance. I had mobile phone roaming so this worked, but my friend, who did not have roaming, would have struggled to reach the hotel staff.
The other small point is that payment was required in cash - the hotel messaged that in advance so we were prepared
