Dasomchae Hanok stay

I liked the rooms and its prefect for a group of 4 people.

I didn’t like the directions given where to find the house. It was not on the first of the three floors. That was another separate apartment.

접근성도 좋았고 한옥숙소라는 점이 아주 새롭고 더욱 기억에 남는 여행으로 만들어주었습니다. 위생도 깔끔하고 고즈넉한 분위기라서 숙소에 있으니 마음이 편안해지고 좋아서 숙면할 수 있었네요 주변에 먹을 곳이나 편의시설도 괜찮았고, 다양한 여행 중에서 아주 기억에 남는 숙소가 되었습니다. 특별한 추억을 남기고 싶을때 한옥 숙박 추천해봅니다.

Breakfast was very basic.

Property was messy with stuffs outside. There was mold in the bathroom. Needs TLC.

The place was quiet and clean. The owner was accomadating in changing our reservation dates.

I thought we'd be staying in the actual hanok house, but actually we stayed in the main house next to the hanok house. There was no mention that the rooms were not in the actual hanok house. The location was pretty far from the center of town and any sort of touristy thing you'd like to do in Gwangju. You couldn't shower after 11pm which was a bit inconvenient. We couldn't eat or drink in our room which was annoying, especially when the communal spaces closed at 11pm, so if you wanted to keep drinking or eat, you'd need to leave the property. Breakfast was toast, preserves, drinks, some cabbage, cucumber and carrots. One of the reasons we chose this place was for the included breakfast; we were expecting a bit more than toast and jam.
