Aurea City Center Apartment Zagreb

I had no idea when I booked this terrific apartment based on the wonderful reviews just how lucky I was to have chosen it. Within. five minutes of exiting the Zagreb airport, I had tripped, fallen, and smashed my face into the concrete. I had a very painful shoulder which turned out to be fractured. It was only by pure fortune that I met Natali and Rudi. They were to become my lifeline over the next few days. They took me to the trauma hospital and helped me check in there. They helped me secure needed medication. They checked on me every day during my stay. They even toured me around the city to make sure that I had some good memories of Zagreb. I don’t know what I would have done had I not had Natali and Rudi’s help. They went away beyond their roles. The charming apartment is beautifully decorated and full of light. Natali has an eye for design. Despite my unfortunate situation it was a happy place to be. Everything that I needed to rest and recuperate was available. I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful apartment and this amazing couple

The apartment was tucked away in a quiet location but in a really good area for all the sights of Zagreb that we wanted to explore. The welcome was lovely and everything was explained. The appt was clean and tidy with good facilities.

Nothing to dislike.

These were, without a doubt, the most iconic hosts we’ve ever encountered. From the moment they welcomed us to our room, they went above and beyond—chatting about our trip and even gifting us the world’s greatest welcome cookies. It’s hard to find the right words to describe them; they are simply incredible and always there when you need them. If you look up the Greek word "φιλοξενία" (philoxenia) on Wikipedia, these hosts should be the primary example. Other than that: 1. Unbeatable Location: Right in the heart of the city center; everything is within a 5-minute radius. 2. The Room: Absolutely perfect, ultra-clean, and relaxing. It’s even better than the photos—you can literally "smell" the cleanliness in the air.
