About this cottage rental

In the hollow of the valley ganzeville three villages follow one another:
Daubeuf-Serville, Bec de Mortagne and Ganzeville.
It is there that we decided 10 years ago to restore a former rectory of the seventeenth century.
The ground floor awaits you overlooking a lawn and the Ganzeville Valley. The gardens of the beak are the product of the work of Brigitte and Christian that shaped them from communal wastelands.
10 years later, the gardens occupy almost all of 4000 m² with the exception of a left wilderness where birds nest ...
The cottage is fully equipped, new and very comfortable.
Located 10 minutes from Fécamp, 20 min from Etretat, 30 min 45 min from Le Havre and Rouen, discover the Pays de Caux in peace.

A beautiful property, fully equipped with everything needed and a wonderful garden to wander and sit. Easy roads to reach other destinations and explored a different area that we thought. Even better the friendly cat!!!

The property is in the lower part of the house and faces the beautiful gardens which look out across a wooded valley with the sound of running water. Everything is exactly as described in the listing, perfect for a family of four, and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed our mornings in the garden and evenings by the fire. We had a wonderful few days, visiting local towns of fecamp, etretat, honfleur and saint valery en caux. We didn't get to meet the owners as they were away themselves but they checked in to make sure we were settled.

we were allowed to stay here for a week and a half. Everything is there, beautiful garden and lots of privacy, very nice beds. Owners very pleasant to deal with. Lovely quiet environment.

This home is exquisite! It's an ancient church building with modern finishes, so comfortable yet stylish. The grounds are just incredible, with flowers and terraces, a wonderful place to relax. Hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even helping navigate a minor medical situation that could have caused a lot of red tape and stress. The one thing to know is that this location is RURAL, there is not even a cafe or a market in walking distance, so you want to bring everything you need. If that's what you're looking for, highly recommend!

A lovely garden awaits you here in a quiet river valley not far from the sea. We enjoyed a super week here sharing our time between relaxing in the large beautiful garden and exploring the coastal towns Fecamp, Etretat and many smaller sites suggested by our extremely helpful and pleasant host. The accomodations inside were perfect too.

Beautifully converted property with a fabulous garden and views of surrounding countryside. Perfect location for a peaceful break away from it all, but within easy reach of Fecamp and Etretat. Christian was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. We couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely return!

Die Wohnung und der Garten der Gite "Le jardin du bec" lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Garten lädt zum Frühstücken und zum Ausklang des Tages ein, der Blick ins Tal ist sehr schön. Er ist liebevoll angelegt, mit zahlreichen Rückzugsecken zum Erholen, und es gibt Besuch von Hühnern und Ente. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll, der Vermieter äußerst hilfsbereit. Alles in allem eine schöne Woche, wir kommen wieder!

Wir verbrachten eine herrliche Woche in den Gärten des Schnabels und weil es so schön war, konnten wir sogar noch eine Übernachtung anhängen. Brigitte und Christian sind zwei liebenswerte und geduldige Gastgeber. In Realität ist alles noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Natur- und Gartenliebhaber kommen voll auf ihre Kosten. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Ausstattung ist top!! Nachts hört man vielleicht einen Kauz; ansonsten ist es totenstill. Gleichzeitig liegt das Quartier ausgezeichnet. Man ist schnell in in Fecamp und Etretat. Absolut sehenswert ist auch Rouen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist übrigens im Nachbarort Ganzeville das Restaurant "la petite auberge". Für uns steht fest, dass wir nicht zum letzten Mal dort waren.

Gîte exceptionnel, architecture du 17ème, ancien presbytère au pied d'une magnifique petite église du 11ème...bref, lieu charmant dans une campagne magnifique propice à la rêverie et au promenades...Décoration chic et raffinée, logement spacieux, confortable et parfaitement équipé...cheminée en prime!! Wir haben eine entspannte Woche in der superschönen Wohnung von Fam. Brindel verbracht. Die Wohnung ist hoch- und neuwertig ausgestattet, in top-Zustand, geschmackvoll und durchdacht eingerichtet. Von M. Brindel wurden wir mit tollen Ausflugstipps und superleckerer selbstgemachter Marmelade versorgt. Der tolle große Garten rundete das Ganze ab. Lage war für uns optimal, ein Stück entfernt von den vollen Badeorten an der Küste, dennoch kurze Wege zu den Stränden der Alabasterküste. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!!!
