Holiday home Edo

It was very, very, very clean! Cleaner than my own home. The place is modern. All cooking equipment was present. Two bedrooms and two beds. You can make use of the landlords garden outside. The hospitality was amazing! I was provided with an old, but fully functioning mountainbike, so there was no need to spend money on renting one. I was given a beach towel when I asked for one and got treated to cake. I was also provided with mosquito repelling spray and tablets, which helped out greatly. On they day I had to leave, I asked if I could leave later than the check-out time, and that was allowed too. There is also enough parking space for cars. The village is very nice and feels very homey and warm. Hydrobaza is also an extremely well made beach for Croatian standarts. I was amazed. There are many foresty hills with old forts around the area that you can explore for free. Mountainbiking is a bit of a challenge there, but very fun! The landlade speaks English very well. I'm very happy I chose this place.

The chairs inside were a bit hard and not too comfy. When outside, you're in full view of the landlords family, so not much privacy. Though, they don't really interact with you, apart from saying hello, because apart from the landlady, nobody speaks English. The location is not too close to the beach. You'll need a car or bike to get there. To the beach it's 5 min by bike (back it's 10 min uphill). There is no proper supermarket in the village. Only a tiny store for the essentials (without meat being sold there). If you need to go to a supermarket, you must drive to Pula. The busses go every hour on week days, every two hours on Saturday, and only 5 times on Sunday, so take that into account. Uber works fine. I biked a lot and used the bus to go to Pula and Uber to go to the airport, but I would advise people to come by car. Croatia is in general a very car-centric country. There are mosquito's in the area, so I got bitten 10 times. But all these things are minor details. The plusses of this place outweigh the minuses by a landslide!

Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona: piekarnik, mikrofalówka, lodówka, dodatkowo mieliśmy zapewnione ścierki i ręczniki papierowe, żelazko oraz ręczniki. Łazienka nowa + dwa pokoje z szafami i taras z grillem. Bardzo miła właścicielka służącą pomocą.

The apartment was new, it had private parking and a private terrace. The owner was really nice to us.

The sofa bed was a bit too small.

Sandra (the host) was very kind and helpful in every matter. So the stay for us very comfortable. It's quite, it has a little supermarket, a great bakery and the bus stop is just around the corner, if you dont have a car. Since we were in this area the first time, she helped us out with lots of information. Thanks!
