Appletree Cottage Fressingfield

Great location spacious attractive and comfortable cottage.

Bed was a bit hard for our liking, just needs a good topper.

The property was very clean.

The bed bottom sheet was slightly stained which was not expected.it looked like it had clearly been laundered but this rather let down the otherwise clean property. Surprised the front garden was open and not fenced off, this meant we had a local dog using it. Surprised that there was no tea, coffee or any sugar etc offered as part of the welcome, especially at the price level. Have noticed the prices have been reduced recently.

Cottage was well equipped and clean. Short drive to village with 2 good pubs. Very peaceful and quiet.

Narrow lanes in vicinity. However, very little traffic.

Jo met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful giving us a rundown of everything we might need to know during our stay. The cottage was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. It is in a peaceful rural setting, surrounded by designated quiet lanes and with a lovely woodland walk to Fressingfield village. A perfect place from which to explore the best of inland and coastal Suffolk.
