''Go Desert'' Homestay

Wonderfully helpful host. A brilliant advert for homestays. Unfortunately l was rather ill on arrival, Ashish our host took us ( because at this point my husband was also becoming I'll too ) to his Dr's where we recieved medication and a further prescription aid our recovery. He, his wife and son made us feel more than just guests. Ashish organised a really good day tour to the White Rann, road to heaven and the black hills/mountain.

Although this is a miner quibble, the bed was rather hard for our liking.

I came to Bhuj with the idea of visiting the Rann of Kutch but no plan on how to achieve it. The host was wonderful and was able to organize last minute a driver for me for the next day to have a day trip to not only the Rann of Kutch but also other attractions that are on the way. This day trip was the highlight of my 2 weeks in India. For the second day he organized the visiting of a block printing workshop and the very interesting LLDC museum for textiles. The host gave very good advice on what to visit in the region. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was homemade Indian breakfast in the morning. The house is located in a calmer neighborhood which I appreciated a lot.

The mattress for the bed was quite hard. I didn't mind but for others this might be relevant.

Excellent accueil par la famille du propriétaire. Chambre très propre et lit confortable. Emplacement calme.

Location. WiFi was accessible.

Very small room. Bad 2 1/2 ft twin beds put together with gap. Hard pillows. 4'X4' bathroom. It took about 10 min to get hot water from the geyser. Bad towels. 19"-22" Not up to any standard. It's a rip off for the price.
