The bathrooms didn't have hot water due to maintainance issues. The natural pool wasn't maintained either. Food choices wasn't available. Basic amenities weren't good at all

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Maskeli Oya Family Park. My husband climbed Adam's Peak on the first night of the booking while our 3-year-old daughter and I stayed on our own. This place offered us the perfect opportunity to relax and explore while my husband rested up after his climb. It's set off a quiet road, surrounded by lush trees and tea plants. The nearest town does not seem to have much to offer, but that's OK because everything we needed was available on-site: we had delicious meals (the Sri Lankan breakfast was probably the best we had during our 12-day trip), comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas, lovely paths to explore, and a nice swimming pool overlooking a beautiful pond. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating, especially as my daughter made herself quite at home. We stayed in a very generously sized room at the end of the building that had 3 single beds. The furnishings were fairly basic but commensurate with the affordable price we paid. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would strongly recommend Maskeli Oya Family Park to anyone looking for a peaceful spot to unwind amidst the beauty of nature.

A few minor improvements could make this place absolutely perfect: the bath tub (which was an unexpected bonus to begin with) didn't hold water, and the mattresses were a bit thin. I stress that these were minor issues and did not negatively affect our impression of this beautiful place.

Quiet if you’re looking for peace. Big social area - although we didn’t use it as no other guests were there. Staff/site manager was very helpful. Flexible with check-out as we left a day earlier than planned but only got charged for the night we stayed.

The location is very remote so not convenient for Adam’s Peak - which we didn’t know, because the place told us it was a 30min drive (it was over an hour). The tuktuk price arranged by the property also changed price on the night we needed it. Bathroom could be improved.
