It is an ideal hotel for convenience of movement to and from the port as well as around Stone Town. One needs not spend much in local transport. No taxi needed on arrival, departure or even shopping around darajani and sight seeing around Stone Town.

I believe the pictures speak for themselves. The only good thing about this place is the location, and the staff was nice. However, they were not aware of my reservation, how many rooms, anything at all. It was an unpleasant experience that led us to leave this place immediately (rooms were not even ready) and spend more money booking a new one. This hotel is in no condition to accommodate people, it needs a whole renovation from ground to roof… beds, amenities, drawers, AC… everything needs to be replaced. I sincerely recommend travelers to book elsewhere.

Stayed there for 3 nights. We made our booking earlier in the year but our arrival took management by surprise. We were not given the rooms we had booked because the place was full. The rooms do not get cleaned. The bathroom and the toilet are not separate so the water from the shower goes straight to the toilet area. This water was mixing with an old and dirty looking toilet brush placed at the corner without a brush holder 😳. Using the bathroom was a nightmare especially that we had a young child with us. By the end of the three days we had lots of garbage in room and lots of sand too from walking around. On the flip side, the hotel is close to different services including restaurants, boats, filling stations, etc., Its also easy to do the stonetown walk and visit Forodhani night market. The location is safe but a bit noisy. Mr. *** was very helpful and did whatever he could to make our stay comfortable.
