Nice stay.

Gdynia August 2025

We stayed on the top floor of the plaza. The location was brilliant and the apartment was perfect for the two of us just for a week. The staff were lovely upon arrival and we were able to communicate fairly well despite the English/Polish language barrier. The beds were comfy and the pillows were amazing! I was sad to be leaving Poland but just as sad to be leaving the pillows behind because they were so comfy and plush. There's also basic pots and pans for if you need to cook at anytime, we had 1 deep pot, a frying pan, 2 plates, 2 pasta bowls, 1 cereal bowl, 2 mugs, 2 small glasses and then 2 of each cutlery. Potentially could've done with bigger bowls for the sake of whisking eggs without mess but it wasn't so much of a problem that we couldn't. The balcony was a lovely feature for nights when we wanted to sit in the evening air but wanted to be in our own space away from crowds and for the most part the view was quite pretty, the other buildings blocked some of it but you could still see a fair bit of the city and the sea.

Some of the plug sockets kept coming out of the wall which was a bit concerning but we had enough to be able to avoid using those ones. The shower would run out of hot water quite quickly but again with the weather we were super hot anyway so it wasn't a big problem. The key fob for the main entrance door didn't work sometimes so you had to wait and repeat a couple of times to get in but it always eventually worked so we were never unable to access the building.

Great place for short term stay

Great location, near to the city centre or the beach. Cosy bed. Perfect for the weekend.

The smelly bathroom, I believe it was more the sewers system but still it was annoying. The wardrobe’s door was hard to open. It was clean at the first sight but the bedsheet had a stains, the apartment was a bit dusty.

We had very nice room....new, cleen... I loved the bathroom :), fully equipped kitchen which I didn't expect.

Because it is located in the city centre, it was noisy as expected, it is price for location :)Nothing terrible, I'd come again.

A Mixed Bag of Surprises

Location was excellent with plenty to see around. A pleasant surprise was that 'The Gdynia Film Festival' was around the corner.

Unfortunately access to this place was very poor for a wheelchair user. Nor suitable for a handicapped person. Four steps to negotiate to get into the building with awkward doors. There were also issues with the lift which meant that the stairs had to be used to get to the first floor flat where we stayed . The owner was very sorry and was very helpful, but it needs to be stated, not something that is confronted on arrival as 'A Surprise'......Simply put, it is not for chair users!

No English For one week not even one time clean and change. If you have wet clothes never will dry . Door of apartment never lock. No security.

Overall, I enjoyed staying there.

Clean and nice room. Convenient location - 10-minute walk to the beach and 15-minute walk from the railway station. In the close neighbourhood - a big supermarket, coffee shops, and different restaurants.

We spent there five days. Our room was not cleaned during this time.

Disappointing

The location was great, near to beach, right next to Kamienna Góra. Nice coffee and food places nearby.

It was cold because heating was bearly working. Owner told us that's not his fault but the city heating so through our whole trip we were wearing warm clothes and sitting under blankets. Wifi was not working also.

Very central, good location

A great, central location in Gdynia, which brings you in short walking distance of the city beach, the beach boulevard, cultural venues like the film theatre, the hill with viewpoint and all shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in the city centre. A well-sized room, comfortable for one or several nights to stay. Street parking (paid) almost always available somewhere.

Since the hotel is on the main street it can be a bit noisy with traffic or night crawlers, but this didn't bother us.

Świetne miejsce w idealnej lokalizacji.

Świetna lokalizacja! 4 minuty do głównej plaży, park i kolejka na górę Kamieńsk pod nosem. Lidl, rossman zaraz przy obiekcie. Restauracje, kawiarnie wszystko w zasięgu. Dworzec PKP również blisko. Pani wlascicielka przeurocza, bardzo pomocna. Chłopak, który nas przyjmował na recepcji również. Mieszkania czyste, wygodne, mieliśmy dwa TV, z opcją smart. Na pewno wrócimy za rok. Dziękujemy bardzo ☺️❤️
