There is a rice cooker and enough cooking utensils to cook comfortably, and the ventilation fan is strong, which is very satisfying. The bathroom, kitchen, and other areas are clean. Since it's not a tourist spot, the security is actually better, and the neighborhood is quieter and cozier. A house where you can truly feel the charm of Japan.
One night, the neighboring guests were so loud that they woke me up in the middle of the night. Since the place is sensitive to noise, I had to be careful not to disturb others, but if other guests are inconsiderate, I can end up being affected as well.
Among the three beds, only one had good-quality bedding, while the other two did not. It would have been better if all the bedding were of uniform quality.

quite far from the center of Kyoto … and located in a very residential area so not very practical for tourism

It’s convenient, bus stop is jus a few min walk away.
Travelling to Nishiki market is one bus and less than 30min.
Nice shrine around.
Love the house, clean and in good working condition.

Would have preferred to have been emailed the key details so that we could have just taxied straight to the place rather than trying to get to two places
