About this villa rental
Property with 7 hectares in the Arrábida Natural Park, in Azeitao, with a large traditional Portuguese house with 8 bedrooms and a private swimming pool.
The house, with approximately 500 m2, can accommodate up to 21 people in 9 spacious and comfortable bedrooms. It has been recently renovated and decorated in a true traditional Portuguese style with authentic pieces from the rural regions of the South of the country. The property has 2 houses separated by a patio with a large pine tree and a pergola with a large outdoor dining table and barbecue. It is an excellent space for gatherings, relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. In the first house there is a large living room with a large dining table, a games room, 5 bedrooms on the first floor (3 bedrooms with 3 single beds + 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed), 4 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 2 kitchens (one next to the living room and another smaller one next to the games room). The whole house has air conditioning! In the second house there is another living room with a dining table, a fireplace and 3 bedrooms with 2 more full bathrooms.
The property is a small oasis in the mountains of the Arrábida National Park, with a vast plot of 70,000 m2, surrounded by a unique landscape, providing equally unique moments in one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal, close to several picturesque villages in a wine region, 12 minutes from the beaches of Arrábida and only 30 minutes from Lisbon.
The house also offers a comfortable covered area where you can enjoy the magnificent mountain views and savor a glass of wine from the region's cellars.
If you are looking for a peaceful stay in a romantic region, close to the village of Vila Nogueira de Azeitao and its wineries, and also ideal for children, in the countryside but also close to the beaches and the city of Lisbon, Quinta Vale Pereiro is the ideal choice.

A wonderful property with lots of space - we lived outdoors!. The family that own the property clearly care a lot for the house (a barn conversion) and were very helpful with all our queries.
However, the bedrooms, which are upstairs in the eaves, really do need to have air conditioning installed. The owners lent us fans to try and keep the bedrooms cool, but even with the blinds and doors shut upstairs all day (as they recommended) the rooms were never cool. We think this is because of the velux/skylight windows - the blinds do not stop the heat of the sun warming the rooms during the day. Downstairs it was fine.
It is also worth noting that the barn is split into two properties - one with three bedrooms (which has all the kitchen equipment and the TV and sofas) and one with two bedrooms which has a games room instead of a lounge. This worked fine for our party (two families) but would've been useful to know in advance.
Also - the pool doesn't have much of a shallow end. Fine for older kids, but worth considering if your kids are younger.
The owners have their own property on site and stayed there for one night while we were there. They are very hospitable and helped us with all our enquiries promptly.

This is by far the best holiday I have ever had! All of us felt so at ease at this property, my husband gave me the biggest smile once we arrived and even told me ‘well done, this is beautiful’.
The rest of my family was very impressed with how well equipped this house is and how well preserved everything is.
Every single room has everything you need. All details are well crafted, which provide a sense of care and love from the owners.
Ana and her family went above and beyond with every single requirement and came back to us immediately whenever we needed something from them.
They were all willing to make sure our stay was a pleasant one and were very accommodating to all of our ‘annoying’ demands.
The property is so clean and it was obvious that Ana and her family provide the best gadgets to make your stay a welcoming one. There was everything we needed and more.
The swimming pool is fantastic and a man comes to clean it every couple of days to make sure is fresh and ready to use.
The house is spacious and the views are majestic.
I couldn’t recommend this property enough.
We have been able to create wonderful family memories in this property for ever.
I am already planning my next stay there!
