Τοποθέτηση σιτών στα παράθυρα. Το δωμάτιο στον κάτω όροφο δεν είχε παράθυρο και αντί για πόρτα είχε πόρτα τύπου σαλούν, που δεν παρείχε ιδιωτικότητα

We loved that the property was close to a small little village. You could walk to it or take a bike. There was an amazing little restaurant in the village that we went to. The house is lovely, it felt very Greek Crete style. We loved the pool and the large table for eating outside. We were two families 10 in total and there felt like lots of room. Our teenage kids really enjoyed the ping-pong and pool table. It felt like we were living in an authentic area. There were sheep, dogs, and cats, lots to see. The house is also close to the town with the Rethmyno, a great fun, vibrant town with an old fort. The host was fabulous and gave us lots of ideas to do things around the neighbourhood . We visited a beautiful beach, hiked, an amazing hike in the gorge, and visited local villages for pottery . I would love to come back to this place and explore more of Crete .

Villa Kalliopi is exceptional. We are a large family and we each had our own space on each of the 3 floors. (There are 2 bedrooms on each floor). The villa has lots of cute areas outside too for us to relax, read, eat and play games. We all loved the fabulous pool and the little pool was perfect for the 2 little ones. Marilena and Manos couldn't be better hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We really appreciated the gifts they left for our arrival and the shopping they did for us as our flight was late. Their communication was always prompt and friendly. The location of Villa Kalliopi is wonderful. We did a lot of day trips and particularly enjoyed Preveli Beach and Monastery, Lake Kournas, the boat trip from Rethymno Harbour and the visit to Karavostasi Beach in Bali. All are within an hour's drive. The local village of Prines is less than 10 mins away and we ate in all 3 restaurants there. The food was superb in all 3 and very reasonable.
