The host was kind, beds were comfortable. The balcony was nice.

The apartment was not clean, especially the kitchen. In the description it was mentioned that there is a barbecue available to use, but in reality there wasn’t.

Nice apartement and good location. The owner was flexible, nice and friendly and his mom made super good pancakes for us. Highly recommend this place.

The only thing missing was curtains in the bedroom.

We stayed here for four nights as a family with a 3-year-old child, in the two-bedroom apartment with terrace. The apartment is quite spacious and the terrace is a pleasant addition. Postira itself is a lovely destination for families: quiet and relaxed, with little traffic or noise and several nice beaches nearby. In our opinion, Prja Beach is the best option in the area and is about a 1 km walk from the apartment. The host was friendly and kind. He welcomed us with homemade crêpes, which was a very thoughtful gesture. When we pointed out a misunderstanding regarding the air conditioning, he also agreed to let us use it free of charge during our stay.

Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet our expectations. The property is spacious but very dated and would benefit from significant renovation and maintenance. The furnishings, mattresses, pillows, sofa and curtains all felt quite old and worn. The bathroom fixtures were also visibly aged, and the overall level of cleanliness could have been much better. The windows are old single-glazed wooden windows, and the shutters do not fully block the light, so the bedrooms become bright quite early in the morning. There was also a maintenance issue with the kitchen sink. It was visibly leaking and had a cloth wrapped around the pipe rather than being properly repaired. As a result, the water flow from the tap was extremely weak, making it difficult to wash dishes. We also found some information in the Booking.com listing to be inaccurate. The listing stated that private parking was available on site, but in practice parking is free public street parking, and a space directly near the apartment is not guaranteed. The information regarding cooling was also unclear. The listing stated that there was no air conditioning but that fans would be provided. On arrival, we discovered that there were no fans and that the apartment actually had one air-conditioning unit, available for an additional €6 per day. After we explained the discrepancy, the host kindly allowed us to use it free of charge. Communication with Direct Booker was slow and not very effective, and check-in was unnecessarily complicated due to unclear directions and arrangements for collecting the keys. Overall, while the host was friendly and helpful, the condition of the apartment, cleanliness, maintenance issues and inaccuracies in the listing made the value for money disappointing. Although we understand this was peak season, at €177 per night we would have expected a higher standard of upkeep and comfort.
